Must look for these Potato Waffles, next time I'm in the supermarket, had no idea they could be cooked in a toaster? Probably haven't eaten a Potato Waffle since my childhood, and that was at least a few years ago, yeah recollect liking the taste, but never very filling. Fish Fingers are always great, especially, for lunch, in some form of toasted bread, with salads, and sauces.

I always get the Birdseye but after this Aldi will be getting my money I must be the only person in the world who hasn't got an air fryer too so I will be picking one of those up when I go Aldi thanks for this video bab xx

You have compared two different types of fish, and Birdseye waffles are the only waffles made with real potatoes. All the other makes are made with rehydrated potato powder or flake. I much prefer to pay a few extra quid for better quality products from Birdseye.

To be fair...food colouring is bad, so the Bird's Eye fish finger is probably a wee bit healthier.

Aldi uses minced fish birdseye uses proper cod fillets thats why the aldi was soft its just off cuts minced together. Horrible. Plain and simple. No comparrison. I have shopped at Aldi and most of the stuff is just rubbish and they use inferior food. Most of the stuff I bought got chucked because it just tasted horrible. I would rather pay more for decent stuff than buy cheap stuff that gets chucked. Birdseye definately worth the extra money. Its real fish fillet not some mushed up rubbish. You probably like the aldi cos you have no teeth and its easier to eat 😂😂

I don’t know what Aldi you go to but their fish is great. Also Birdseye give you less fish but for more money. Birdseye are definitely not worth it in my opinion.

@@OldFoodGuyNot a snob at all I grew up in a council house. I would rather pay more for quality food than save the pennies on inferior products. It saves money in the long run because nothing gets chucked away.

@@AliAdeelGamingI would rather have less fish but quality than buy minced fish products which could be any part of a fish all minced together. You don't know what the heck you are eating.

@@lizvickers7156 There are fish fingers at Aldi which are cheaper than Birdseye and are not minced (those are the ones I buy). They give you more fish than Birdseye for less money and taste great. I used to buy birdseye but it just isn’t worth it. In my opinion there are way better options than Birdseye it just isn’t worth the price. Also,Birdseye are heavily fried in rapseed oil which is not great for your health. Overall, yes i agree with you minced fish that are cheap (80p for 10 fish fingers from Aldi) aren’t an ideal option but Aldi does offer fish that isn’t minced that is still cheaper than Birdseye.
