Coach Cain, I took your advice and applied it to my paddle today. Absolutely LIFE CHANGING!!!! Thank you. I was literally in the process of selling my board and buying a “more stable” wider board. I live on an island near Seattle so the water is cold - I was just afraid to fall in, was standing too tall and was wobbly - didn’t trust my board and wasn’t committed mentally. Today, I got over my fear/mind, dug in, got lower, used the paddle and went hard....feels great. Wish I would have seen this 3 years ago!
Really solid coaching video - thanks. I am not focusing on selling my board for a more stable one...I am focusing on relaxing, rhythm and getting lower.
Thanks again boss some good thinking and tips, until watching your recent videos I’d not realised I am doing many of these things already but has hi lighted where I can be trying and practicing more. I paddle a 14/26 inflatable do you think any different skills needed for this over hard board
Hi Gavin, if you want to ask Coach Cain a question, he's responding to the original FB Live post on the Paddle Monster FB page. He doesn't make it over here often :)
