HENDON 2-0 WEYMOUTH - Highlights 9 December 2023

Highlights from our superb 2-0 win against Weymouth in the FA Trophy 3rd round. A goal in each half from MacNab and Leonard gave us the deserved victory and we now look forward to the next round. A wonderful atmosphere added to the occasion.

A game where each player showed total commitment, and played as part of a team. Nobody was neither carried or selfish in their play.
Up against a full time side with greater fitness, they all showed their brilliance in this win.
It would have hurt if Weymouth had won this game, but one second is all that's needed.
This team has been improving, and this team has to be kept from now on.
Weymouth looked bigger, were fitter, and unlike Hendon, hadn't had to fight like this all season for the points won.
This was a massive giant killing.
Hendon are due being given a home tie against a National League side. The crowd will be huge, and the players will get their chance to play at a level they all put the shirt on for.
Some have already tasted that, and the rest have proven that's for them too.
Their names will now become part of Hendon's history..
