- Trying to decide between the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and the TVS Apache RTR160 4V? Let's make this simple. Get the RTR 4V. There's absolutely no reason we can think of why you should get the NS160. The only exception to that would be fans of the NS' design or brand image. And those guys needn't watch the rest of this video. This is the best the NS160 has ever been. The USD forks give it control over the bumps and poise in the corners. The rest of it is all incrementally better than the old one. But in every single aspect, whether it's quality, price, ease of riding, economy, even design, the Apache RTR 160 4V model is a superior purchase to the NS160. This video does sound exactly like the previous one, and that's not an accident. Two caveats for the TVS? TVS Service has a reputation for being difficult. And we are expecting dual-channel ABS to come on the RTR 4V, but at the moment, the TVS 160s only have single-channel ABS.

If tvs added dual abs in rtr it will become the goat 160 seg bike.
I must add, the TVS showroom experience is so pathetic compared Bajaj in this regard. Bajaj takes in feedback post an inquiry and the whole experience was amicable. The TVS showrooms I visited didn't have even a test ride bike to go for a spin. I ended up going for the N160 simply for the incredible braking and dual ABS but I'm so glad I avoided TVS as a company, not the product.

TVS showrooms are bad. But if we bring anything to the company's attention, their response is simply fantastic. Having had the 2021 RTR 160 4v previously, the Motorcycle was short of nothing to be called perfect. It was truly incredible. And whatever minor issue would come up, and if the service centre couldn't rectify it, the representatives from TVS motor company responded. And dealt with it very professionally. That had given me so much reassurance to go back to TVS products no matter how pathetic the service centre is. Because ultimately their products are extremely well engineered. And I just love them. Tvs RTR 1604v vs Xtreme 1604v. Which one would you recommend taking into consideration pillion comfort also.
The comparison would have been more relevant if the N160 was pitted against RTR160. In this day and age I don't think anyone would go for NS160 other than Pulsar fanboys as you rightly pointed out.
How is ns 160 in terms of engine reliability as it's a 4v engine?
