      Hi Rena! Thanks for the suggestion! I was looking at those foldable accordian style folders. They should work, too. :) Thanks for watching.

    Not sure if you are still looking for a storage solution, but have you thought of an accordion style folder to store the file games? Would still be really portable.

      Hi Vanessa! Thanks for the suggestion. I like that accordion style folders are portable. Do they stand up like a box or do they fall over when you open them? Let me know what you've experienced.

    I want thicker cookies for those file folder games! lol I wonder if I can laminate thicker cardboard. Maybe just not by the machine (should probably use those manual laminating sheets maybe)? Idk. lol

      I printed them out on cardstock and then laminated them for reinforcement. Maybe that will help! Thank you for watching!

      Hi Shivani! I actually print out all of my stuff and go to Lakeshore Learning - a teacher supply store. They have huge laminators that do the job quickly, and they also have discount laminating for teachers. However, I have heard that the 3M laminator on Amazon is good for home use. Thank you for watching!

    For storage, can't you just cut the file folders down to size in order to fit in those ziplock pouches?

      Thank you so much! When u have a free time can u please give me an idea about how many pages should include in a busy book and what should include. I have found many beautiful printables. I don't no how to start. They all are beautiful printables. Don't no which one to choose. Please help

    • @TheReadingandWritingNook
      @TheReadingandWritingNook  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Dulani,
      First decide how you want to store them: in a binder like I have or in a file folder box? A binder will allow fewer games. Then, I would divide by literacy and math games. If you still have a lot of games, I’d further divide them into recognizing letters, learning letter sounds, beginning sounds, and then anything that requires knowledge of full words. So basically put the games in order of difficulty. There are certain games my daughter LOVES, like the Three Little Monkeys, the dinosaur marching, the nursery rhymes, and the cookie counting, so now I keep those near the front. Regardless, you should definitely laminate, organize, and label the games so they last long.
