  • The new MAGURA Cockpit Integration (MCi) is the world’s first hydraulic brake that’s fully integrated into the handlebar. With no external tubings, the MCi gives riders a tidy cockpit, better aerodynamics and greater protection for hydraulic components.

Yeah but it looks like theres a cut out in the bar where the lever connects. So it's in a specific spot. Not only could you not switch bars unless every handlebar manufacturer got on board with this but you cant move your lever closer or further from the grip or rotate them. Some people like the lever higher and parallel to the ground, others like them rotated down a bit...this is a cool idea but I dont think itll catch on until these issues are addressed.

What happens if you break the bar itself? I've royal fucked levers in the past, but I've broken more bars than I have my cock pit set up.
If you break a bar say at the gap between lever and grip? It looks like you could cause the same amount if not more damage with it being an internal mech rather than maybe gashing up the metal on the levers and oil res on the bars. I'd give it a try because it could very well be that next step in biking, but I'm hesitant for my aforementioned reasons.
