I love how the a.i. clearly has a grudge against Wren. It misgenders him, gives his character name to someone else, has him miss the zombie along with the other guys, and has him say "I had the least wins" while everyone else was saying how much fun they had.

But while watching the video, throughout the whole thing I had this at the back of my mind that made it super fascinating and fun. "an AI made this." It's just crazy how this could actually be a video that someone would make (although admittedly not the best of videos) and an Artificial intelligence has made it. It's just bonkers

I mean it's one thing to know that in RPGs, you need to roll 20s to win against a hard enemy. But knowing that the players - being actors in a film and in a channel with video editing as the main focus - can cheat by setting two 20s and reversing footage? If the AI really came up with that (and if it didn't just copy it 1:1 from its learning material) that is absolutely INSANE!
The AI doesn't *know* anything per se. It has just "read" *a lot* of text content including tabletop RPGs and then managed to pick sensible-sounding text to the prompt, feeding the text it was generating further into itself.
Don't get me wrong, it's really, really cool and has some amazing potential applications, but there is no knowledge behind it. It's like a magic trick; it seemingly does something impossible or really complex, but with (relatively) simple means that only trick you into thinking it's clever.

@@JoshuaBardwell in the details, yes, but in the grand scheme of the nature of what was processed, the types of inputs and outputs, no, there is no difference. A subtype of AI are even called neural networks cause they were modeled after how we believe the brain to function.
@@amunak_ That's what we're used to seeing when we see text based AI, but this looks quite different to me. It's a question of whether the AI includes some kind of model of how the world actually works, and is simulating novel situations according to those fundamental rules. It does seem like it's doing a lot more of that kind of stuff rather than just parroting bits of its source material.

There kind of is one? Its called AI Dungeon on the Android store. When I played around with it about a year ago, it tend to ignore details it or I provided.

If I remember correctly, there actually has been one made. I think it was a pretty experimental/indie kinda thing. Have a feeling the Crew may have had a quick squiz at it in a vid, interested in the AI. Or, it may have been in the AI youtube series with Robert Downey Jr lol.

I love how rapidly this shifts from epic, to so horribly bad. It's insane to see how well the AI keeps consistency in the world it's created, yet somehow ends up writing dialog like 10 year old.

Plot Twist: It was their script but thought it was absurd, so they came up with a back story.

The story the AI wrote is a really accurate representation of how dreams are
what if... "all-is-a-simulation paranoia" strikes back
That makes sense considering dreams in many ways are an amalgamation of your experiences, while this AI similarly looked at an amalgamation of a huge amount of English text.
I'm going to just commenting and liking videos before i watch because I Usually do that at the end. I loved this video and every last one of you all at the Corridor Crew.

Well to be fair a "Wolf whistle" is just the stereotypical whistle made towards attractive people, Matt was technically using a slide whistle. There was a few things left up to interpretation.

So glad I finally watched this! Everything about it was just perfect.
What was most impressive to me was when the AI had the idea to cheat on the dice rolls by rewinding the footage. It was kinda weird but made total sense and would be a thing you could see in a DnD sketch or something

I tried the ai myself. you just tell her a few basic infos (like "here is an omlette recipe:") and it fills you out everything else and it mostly makes sense. The omlette, for example, was quite good. ^^
