Man who couldn’t love this kid. He loves the game and you can see his passion and spark come back when Marty took over. I think a 30-35 goal season next year seems realistic given Caufield’s spark is back and Suzuki is only getting better

I came back to watch this again and it just blows my mind 8:37 even when it didn’t connect he was doing this type of thing multiple times every night where he would see the play a solid five seconds before it happened and just be off to the races for it or it being perfect position it’s just so fun to watch his vision. In this play, he sees it’s going around the boards where he can see that Suzuki is going to get the puck uncontested. Knowing that the puck is going to be coming around the boards he sees the defencemen isn’t in position to catch up to him because he’s too far extended and half turned so he starts bolting before Suzuki even gets the puck which means he’s already going top speed before the defencemen even realize what’s happening. He was so far ahead mentally from the defenceman that he was literally able to get an entire zone length away.
In its hat trick game barraging the panthers, he scored in three different ways, amazing!
This kid is nuts, going to be a finalist for the Rocket very soon.

I can't picture a 50 goal season for Cole next year. But very close! I'd say 45 goals is a solid logical guess. Last year he was on pace for 46 goals. If he has an opportunity to play in 75-82 games. Cole can reach the 45 goal plateau.
I love this kid. One day he will hold the Cup over his head as one of the Defensemen lift the cup and Cole over theirs.

@@gonzo8450 he absolutely lit me up! Never been so frustrated playing against a single guy. As a young kid there was no defending against him, he was a real life cheat code. He will make waves in the NHL in the next couple years I'm counting on it

With a season under his belt he prob worked on what needed to be done and I fully expect him to hit 30+. This is only a part of why I don't think the habs will have a top3 pick next year idk why so many people think this team is going to be awful

That last game against Florida, chariot was defending that line. He could have blown up caufeild multiple times, on that third goal in particular. I read they were laughing at eachother because he didn't want to hit him to hard. So chairot took it easy on the kid and caufeild pays him back by getting a Hat trick hahaha.
