That had me laughing and thinking of young days having fun 🤣 (either backyard ball, league play your team doing it thinking “god we suck” or the other team with your friends on laughing you as s off at them).
That happend to my team in provincials I was playing first after the player was already on my teammate threw it over my head the play was already safe outfielder threw to second miss at this point the player was already home thank god there was no one on base and it was a bunt to but we won anyways and only didn’t get into the finals because of the point difference we lost the first game wow I don’t realize how much I talk and I’m the quiet kid💀
I remember watching that. Umpires getting paid BIG money by Ted Turner to be sure the Braves won. The runner was out by 1/2 step. It wasn’t even close the runner was clearly out.
As soon as I saw a Dodger uniform I knew Yasiel Puig was going to be involved. Dude had HOF talent and parlayed that into getting blackballed from MLB in his prime.
Track down a 1998 (June?) Game with Andruw Jones on the Atlanta Braves, where he lazily fielded a fly ball, and ultimately got both benched and a chew-out by Bobby Cox
@@mrriaan38182 outs runner on 3rd… Baez hit it to short and short threw it to first on like the home side of first. So first baseman ran Baez down (could have just touched 1st) and the person on 3rd went home to score (he did) and Baez made it to 2nd.
@@ExWitDaFacts well, that's not good. Thanks for the explanation 👍 He really messed that one up, easy end of innings turns into a run and another runner in scoring position. 😔
This video just gave me an idea, a new twist on the old "Freaky Friday" Disney remakes every 5 years or so. Instead of one preteen and a parent swapping places and entire little league team swaps places with a pro team. Have it set up that the little league team is set to play a game they can't win. They swap places with the pros the the pros can play as the little leaguers, but the little league players have to play the pros game.
1:48 pretty smart play imo. Can't turn 2 so he throws it home to prevent the run from coming home. Bases loaded yes but force out any base for next hitter.
I don’t know how Cespedes thought he would get away with that in that first one. Forget about the fact that the ball is easily obtainable, it’s HIS stadium. He’s playing for the home team. The theory is that the field is designed to give HIS team the advantage.
if it was stuck wouldn't it be ground rule double? So the same thing as if he grabs the ball and throws it in. Thats the worst part, not only a terrible plan but if it did work he doesn't gain anything.
I can almost see in the first clip what the fielder was concerned about. The way it landed it looked initially like it was wedged, and maybe he thought if he just signaled immediately instead of risking trying to play it that it might be a better move. I don’t know, just trying to give the benefit of the doubt.
The way it just stops instantly, and partially under the pads, I'd be peaved too. It's lose lose for the player. If you go for it, you un wedge it. The fact it didn't bounce out at all and may have even been obscured from vision, intuition says the ball is probably out of the playable space.
@@bigdeelew yeah, i would think. not sure how it works. does the third baseman have to call for it? jeter must have thought it was his. i mean he was the ss. somebody should have called it.
2:36 Safe? I may have flipped out too.
Yeah but you still gotta finish the play.
Raimel Tapia's inside-the-park grand slam with Durran losing track of the baseball needs to be here.
the second clip (when they are throwing the ball all over the place) brings back good memories when my son was playing little league!
That had me laughing and thinking of young days having fun 🤣 (either backyard ball, league play your team doing it thinking “god we suck” or the other team with your friends on laughing you as s off at them).
It reminded me of the bad news bears but way worse

The umpire was clearly wrong in the Cone incident, but Cone still messed up...big time!
How many outs were there?
If there were 2 outs I sort of get why Cone kept arguing and lost track.
Jonah Heim did a Cone moment. Play the ball before the play ends.

Dang, even the umpire was like dumbfounded by his hesitation
The last play I have seen many times which I’ve seen the radio call where the guy says, “That was the worst baserunning in the history of the game.”

Nyger Morgan. It's a beaut.
My grandfather always said, showboating is stupid. Wanna show off, do it on the score board.
Cone arguing with ump wasnt a dump play that was a dumb ump!
Still have to finish the play with runners on and then argue. I get it ump completely missed the call but get rid of the ball. Dumb on both parts.
Bro that 2nd clip is legit me in the show when im choking
Forgot Benny agbayani, giving the ball to a fan and taking it back
1:00 "I mean that's not nearly as bad as the last play, it's just a throwing error."
A few moments later: "Oh."
“Puig with ANOTHER mistake” 😂😂
Cespedes never had that fire in him as a ballplayer. He had a ton of talent but like so many other ultra talented players, never played hard.
I’m surprised to not see the Pirates vs Cubs play that literally sent the first baseman to Korea
Damn! What the hell did he do?

Gordon taking the 3rd strike is what happens when i bet his prop to get a hit
2:24 The catcher has a look like "what the heck was that?"
That second clip looked like the keystone cops
I wouldn't call that one "dumb", just making inaccurate throws. "Dumb" is the guy who caught the ball and forgot the number of outs.
@@dentonyoung4314 I guess you’ve never seen the keystone cops. I didn’t title the video🙄

It was strategically sound as the one on the 3rd could have run to the base.

The first one is why you have Spring training so that you don't do dumb s come regular season like that.
The lack of yackity sax is disappointing
What? No clip of the Pirate’s trying to perform a rundown between first and home?
In the second clip, the announcer sounded funny but he could have made it a lot funnier/more funny.
