About Southern Charm:
New relationships are forged alongside new resentments, but old habits die hard as these southern socialites grapple with shocking allegations that could fracture what were thought to be unbreakable bonds.
Fresh off a sabbatical in Australia, Shep has returned to Charleston and is ready to work on a friendship with Taylor, which proves difficult when he hears rumors about what she’s been up to while he was Down Under.
Taylor is still working through her breakup with Shep and has been leaning on best friend Olivia for support. When a potential hookup of hers is revealed, Taylor denies the allegations and is unapologetic about enjoying her single life.

After his hot-and-cold relationship with Olivia freezes over, Austen is left wondering why his romantic endeavors never work out. Now some of his closest friendships come into question when dating rumors start to surface.
The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down south.
Newly married Madison is settling into domestic bliss, with husband Brett splitting his time between Charleston and California. Though she is focused on mending friendships, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly and fires back at anyone who attempts to bring her down.
With a stable new beau in her life, Venita has left the feud with Madison in the past and is focused on new friendships with Olivia and Taylor. She’s not afraid to call out transgressions within the group and take sides if necessary.
JT is a successful southern eccentric with a loud personality. Buoyed by his professional prowesses, he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular southern belle in mind.
Leva continues to be the voice of reason, providing a shoulder to lean on for the ladies and offering sage advice about the Holy City’s Peter Pans.
Rod is a staple in the Charleston social scene and a quintessential southern gent who has swept Olivia off her feet, regardless of who that might upset.
Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Tyler. He has been friends with the Charmers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.

Love when parents know their kids. They were immediately like, "Should we even ask what happened that made Olivia upset?" They knew Austen wasn't telling the full story. 😂
I know and they appeared upset with him. I never thought they liked his lifestyle or no job but this show.
My heart broke for Olivia but when she said - “Talking to you (Austen) makes me want to vomit……Respectfully” 😂 I loved it!
He was being too pushy and disrespecting any thought of her feelings is the way I took it. He plays these women and makes fools of them and takes it to a level he should never go. He pretends to love and care about them then drops them for someone else.

I just watched Austin’s behavior in a “relationship “ with some black girl on Winter House . AND He literally does the same thing in every relationship. Whether it’s Madison, some chick on winter house or Olivia. He never wants to commit. But wants them once they’re done with him.
"Olivia said she F'ing hates me!" The lack of self awareness while constantly victimizing himself is astounding. He really would leave out the whole story if his parents didn't know his son's manipulative personality.

Austin’s parents even look like wtf were you doing and expecting to come from this. He always does shitty stuff and acts shocked at how people react and as for Taylor she’s just a 🐍 with her bible thumping innocent act I almost threw up when she told Olivia I should’ve been turning to god and not Austen, it felt like she was trying to manipulate Olivia even more with her pathetic little act.

I just can't believe Craig is the voice of reason. When he told Shep "just because you're cool with it doesn't mean Olivia feels the same" I was so glad. And at Madison's party, when Taylor was screaming at him and he finally snapped and told her that Shep would've slept with that other girl if Craig hadn't stopped him, and he should've let him - well I was thrilled he spoke the truth to her face. Taylor is as unbearable as Austin, and Olivia is way too good for both of them. Taylor was only a "good" person because literally anyone looks like a good person in comparison to Shep. Shep and Austen have always been cheaters and those two have always tried to take the other's girl. Taylor ignored the kajillion red flags about Shep and then played the victim for like a year after they split. So she's been plenty manipulative herself.

Lots of girls do what Taylor did. Austen is the real POS here. If you don't believe me, just keep watching as this scenario repeats over and over again with Austen. Obviously, Taylor could've handled it differently, but she was just trying to get back at Shep. When you're young and hurt you can make terrible decisions that you can't recover from.

I’m confused by the “seriousness” of Austen & Olivia’s relationship. I don’t remember them ever being together like Austen and Madison or Chelsea. I remember him and Olivia never really nailing down the relationship. Did I miss something? (Also, I’m not condoning Taylor and Austen’s actions at all. They are clearly in the wrong with regard to Shep and Olivia) I just feel like Olivia and Austen’s relationship is being hyped up more than it was. Am I wrong?

It's not the guy's asking her to go. It's producers. That's also why she's narrating the summaries of episodes. Producers prefer her over Venita is what I think. Madison is not really friends with the guys but she is probably liked by the producers so they include her more in the storylines.
