I have heard Carrie and Pia Toscanno's version but this is far far miles better than anyone's version I have ever heard. Gina Glocksen was one of the rare people on American Idol who could really sing but didn't win.
I'm not even a fan of hers, but as much as I hate to say this imo this is better than Carrie Underwood's cover! I know people are gonna hate me and think I'm crazy, but Carrie's just wasn't as good as I heard people make it out to be.Idk maybe I expected too much.I know Carries a better singer and all, but this one was better to me anyway.
Who was the mentor? Gina did a good job on this but I don't think nearly as good as people posting here have been saying. Pia has the best performance of this song on Idol.
@@bobbya9722 Since this was 11 years ago I just went back to double check things. Pia not only sang it infinitely better, but I felt the words so much more in Pia's performance than Gina's. Also it doesn't hurt that Pia is beautiful beyond description.
@@TristanandIsolt Gina's just one of my favorite idols from the early seasons. Always felt she was underrated. I enjoyed her performances. I'm not sure why you had to bring Pia into this 11 years ago anyway. Why not just let people enjoy what they like?
Not only is Gina incredibly talented, after having the pleasure of working with her yesterday, she is one of the genuinely nice people out there.

Meh I feel Gina's version more. I feel the words. Pia's was more about singing it as good as possible, where Gina's felt like she meant every word
