With ptera roll it depends on how dead center you land the hit and when you start the roll. Graze the target coming out of the roll animation and you'll do minimum damage. Hit the target dead center (to where the pteras model can't easily slip past it and kinda bumps against it a few times like a jackhammer) at the start of the roll animation and you can do 2x-4x damage. I heard two taps from that roll. and saw 2 tick of damage on your health. So they hit you squarely mid roll. Even so with your health and armor they must have pumped the hell out of melee damage. Which is probably why they kept backing off, they needed stam.
