I was literally just searching if you had tuned this like 4 hours ago 😂
The same engine that was in the 06 cbr1k and it was a beast!
You know what they should do? The manufactures should include a simple button on the ECU
"2024 noise and fuel emission compliant [YES] [NO]"
that way it doesn't matter what new restrictive rules they make
or even a "select territory, [US] [EU] [ASIA] [NONE] "
Just got mine done. Holy shit. This is everything this bike should have been when I bought it
I miss riding so much. 10yrs 5 street bikes. Sold my 1000rr when my son turned 2, been without for 5 years. 😢
Dude I feel you. I sold my bike when my son was born. It took me 15 years to get another. And still went for old school cbr 900rr for an older guy like me an old analogue bike is the best.
lol I literally send you a ty message for helping me get my bike tuned a few months ago. Local tuner had no idea so I sent them the stuff you emailed me and they fixed it. Ty Chris!!
About time you post this up
Thanks for posting this man you guys did my ecu, I was skeptical but after watching this I understand what was done now.
Such a handsome bike, glad you got the best out of it!
Just got my t-shirt from the giveaway 1000R contest. The T-shirt is top notch. Not any junk shirt that sometimes you run into.- thanks
also this is the most underrated bike on the market hands down. People look at the price and say..."well an MT...blah blah blah" the amount of curb appeal and presence this bike has is amazing. Wish more media outlets would give it the proper shine it deserves.
Sounds like the people have chosen already with their wallets. 🤷🏿♂️
It is definitely a sweet looking bike for sure!
I got this bike, can't wait to tune it. Awesome bike
Chris and Moore Mafia, y'all rock! Peace
💪👍
Been waiting on this video now I can get the bike and I’m going to ride out to see Mr Moore mafia to get my baby right.
This is one of my all time favorite bikes that was so heavily hamstrung by the factory tuning.
Love this. Make me get another!
Maybe they don't want to scare the or target audience 😅, thr styling, marketing, and since young people would by an mt10 since it's not that much more expensive.
What's up just brought this bike can't wait to get it tuned, bone stock
I've been waiting for you to tune this bike since 2022. I have one with woolish tuned up to 129. but still have a lag between 4000-5000 rpm
Nice video!! I am getting ready to install LV slip on, they claim some power and torque increase at 4-6K, but this is really something I would like to do aside of the muffler.. I've had my 2021 since new, and always felt that "she" is choked.. Should I seek local person, or you guys accept mailed ECUs? Thanks.
2024 cb1000 you will be seeing my ECU, timing is perfect
I just got a 2009 Yamaha r1 cross plane. Any must do modifications I should know about?
I would love to get my 2018 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak a full exhaust and tuned.
I wonder how much different exhausts affects it. Had my 22 Cb dyno tuned in Mi last month and it made 147whp and 75lb ft of torque. That was with full SC project exhaust system
Mail order tunes for this? I've been riding my '19 CB1000R with a full Akrapovic with factory tune for a little bit and just know I'm missing out on quite a bit.
According to Wikipedia: _The engine is a detuned version of the 2007 CBR1000RR engine_
I know Suzuki pulls the same shenanigans with their 2005 GSX-R1000 engine, but Honda never had a more legendary motor in the first place.
Did they make the pistons out Cast iron or something?
@@ellwoodwolf Which model? No, of course not.
Suzuki has a less oversquare bore/stroke ratio (usually more torque, higher combustion efficiency at lower RPM), higher compression. Just makes more power. The K5 engine architecture was studied by BMW before they released their S1000RR back in 2009, and was the basis for it.
Honda is not known for their fizzle in motorcycle engines it seems. Any time I think about what examples there have been on the market for big power and speed, Honda never comes to mind, outside a highly tuned CBR1000RR-R or something. The last time something went fast, was CBR1100XX Super Blackbird 1996-2007, but was overshadowed by 19 mph higher top speed in 1999 by the (then) new Hayabusa.
Honda makes great bikes, reliable and long lasting. Just lack excitement and the brand seems to be a leader in Goldwing or ADV bikes, but nothing else.
Chris is Tate of sportsbike world keep it up 👍
I have 2011 CB1000R (VADER) with 3qtr exhaust It needs to be flashed and tuned. I would love to see it on the DYNO CHRIS. INTERESTED?
Wild gains. Restrictions man. 😆
also also, I'm curious if he was running those stock dyno pulls with out TC, that makes a difference.
I would love for you to work on my 2022 h2 sx se, but I'm not sure if woolich racing has the ecu flash ready yet. If they do, im going to make a trip to see you guys. Love the content💪🔥💯
yes. they were released a month or so ago.
They don't have anything for it YET....
I was wrong. Since the video was about CB1000R, I assumed the comment was too. Oops.
Hi! I understand that making the bike run richer does comsume more fuel. However, if i am tuning a bike for HP, does it comsume even more fuel on its own or it only comsume even more fuel when you are on full throttle?
lol a week ago you didn’t have the tune. Guess I’ll be getting in touch next week.
Do you have a flash for this without a full exhaust? i have stock headers with cat + CS Racing muffler
I’d like your input, Chris which 1000cc is the easiest to tune for best performance?
GSXR OR ZX10R
Hey can I still get my ecu tuned if I did a stva delete on my 05 gixxer750
My cb was at the tuning shop for a month and i still think they didnt do everything. 😊 we would've appreciate your usual type of video on this one. Left out a lot of info, unless other adjustments are not possible
He only got some at redline, it's basically got the same power, just super touchy throttle now....
@@ellwoodwolf ok. So im not missing anything i was hoping they didnt get to adjust timing because these bikes ignition timing is set to run on 87 octane. with all the problems this flash had we just have to wait for an update from woolich.🙏
First I think moore mafia is using woolich, second it's a little more complicated than that. When manufacturers reuse engine in other models, it's not the engine. They will make internal components out of cheaper materials which will limit redline and reduce efficiency, I'm willing to bet this design also doesn't flow as much air in and has injectors set directly or cheaper one, and maybe a cheaper fuel pump...
We used Woolich to tune it. It's just nothing like any other bikes ecu.
Hey Chris remember to clear the lens
My 2012 Yamaha FZ1 has more HP in stock form than this with the flash. Mine with flash (not Chris) and slip on makes 150hp to the tire.
🔥
when you dyno tune a bike does it make a dif if you are sitting on bike vs a naked pull? how much dif?
It does not effect the power
Unfortunately there are no motorcycle tuners in my area whatsoever
Sad the lawyers ride along with us, screwing everything up.
Chris, tune a Honda Rebel 1100… 😉
What header? I see Leo Vince slip on. And any air filter upgrade or block off plates?
It had black widow header.
CM$🤙🏾✌🏾🙏🏾
Come on Honda, why isn't that bike making at least 170HP like the original one.
I know...... emissions.
Can you tune mine i have the same bike
I'll take my '18 mt10 that you can squeeze 150whp out of for CHEAP! MT10 first gen is a cheap cheap CHEAP hooligan bike! Imo, nothing sounds better than a decat yamaha cp4 at a 12,000 rpm boogie!
From what I have learned with the Honda's if you put any type of exhaust on them they act exactly like this, loss of power everywhere. Not saying they are great all stock but it gets a lot worse after an exhaust upgrade.
Doesn’t an exhaust upgrade have to be done with a tune, since air is different?
@@sht4brns810 yes you should.
This might be the saddest honda naked ever. - Former 919 owner
140hp i bet it just needs a little more fueling
I'm sure you could..... Rebuild the engine with better quality internals, change or port the head, upgrade the injectors, redesign the air box for more power..... There is a reason why people don't $$$$$$$
Ayyeyeeee
Not for nothing, you ran through that video, must be busy
Man that’s really pathetic power (even tuned) for a 1,000cc naked sport. An MT10 or anything else out there would crush that thing. And stock it’s only about 10hp more than a 765 Street Triple. And I’ll guarantee you a Street Triple weighs a lot less. No wonder you don’t see these things anywhere.
👍👍😂
I had a CB750 that I finally decided to get rid of (because they are indestructible) and got this because why go smaller.
0-60 in about 3 seconds is fast enough for me.
Also I don’t compare it to those bikes, as I don’t see it competing with them. It’s a CB. Extremely good at being average and low maintenance. I can load it up with luggage and ride it long distance or zip around town as fast as I need to go.
I think it will still look good until it just doesn’t go anymore, like my old CB
It’s a Honda
And? The CB1000Rs (which this essentially replaces have all been lower horsepower than rivals. They could have easily been less restrictive on the engines but for the purposes of rideability and reliability they stayed lower.
You'll also find they are geared lower as well. Geared right my bike would be capable of 175+ but Honda gear it so it maxes at about 145.
All on purpose.
I know Honda has a reputation as being the weakest in class, but this thing shouldn't ever be in the 1000 class
I gotta disagree with you on this one.... The rest of that bike looks WAY TO SLOPPY for that power, the fork looks so soft , you're on the bike instead of in the bike.... This looks like it's getting looped.
