- Having collaborated once before on a song called 'Glowing Hearts' back in 2016, Michael Maas and I decided to get back together again and create this new single, 'We All Fall Down'. It's available to stream and download in all stores via this link: found.ee/WeAllFallDown
In the choruses we used lyrics from the nursery rhyme, 'Ring A-Ring O' Roses', but we wanted to put a more 'grown up' spin on it whilst still keeping the overall feeling of the song mysterious and magical, so we really hope you like it!

We all fall down - Hudba
Probably the most elegant version of the most morbid nursery rhyme; though, most of them are pretty morbid.
For anyone who thought this should be upbeat and happy, you probably aren't aware of the song's origin story.
"Ring around the roses, pocket full of posies, ashes, ashes we all fall down!"
This song was based upon the Black Plague or "Black Death" (so named as it originated on 12 ships who sailed in from the Black Sea circa 1347 a.d.) This plague swept through Europe like wildfire, killing nearly three-quarters of the European population! It was a hellacious, disfiguring, disgusting, smelly, and agonizing illness.
The "ring of roses" described the appearance of the lesions on the skin; red, raised rings were the first signs of the disease. Eventually, those lessons turned into massive blackish red pustules of highly contagious fluid. What's worse, is the stench when they burst. Families tried to cover the smell of the festering disease with flowers in the clothes and around the beds of the plagued; "pockets full of posies". And, of course "we all fall down" means dying from the disease. Lastly, "ashes, ashes" referred to the burning of the dead, who remained contagious looooong after their passing. They actually had to adjust their disposal practices, because people were still getting the plague from corpses long dead.
Filthy living conditions and careless waste disposal practices attracted rats and other disease bearing vermin to Europe. Many plagues swept through Europe during those centuries. Thankfully, Western Civilization doesn't live like that anymore, so the instances of disease and plague are greatly reduced.
Simply magical! I loved this! ❤
May the light always shine on you, and whatever project may come your way. You are a *born artist that will never fall* 🕊️🌹🎶 ~ Happy Christmas season* dear Euriele 💐🍷🌙 ~P.
Seems like a melancholy carousel...in the past times. Very unique
Ring around the Rosie’s,
Pockets full of posies,
Ashes ashes we all fall down
Nursery rhyme about a pandemic…
Herbs (posies) for protection

Eurielle I love your songs, you could record more songs from medieval times like that. the silmarillion: Luthien's Lament' thank you!
I know the context of the “Ring around the Rosies” kids rhyme, although this whole arrangement makes me think of a dark fantasy setting of a witch or enchantress singing her spell.
