Double Bass Noodling

Double bass noodling it is. I never really looked at double bass playing properly. I've always been able to play fills and bits and pieces in between my hands. I can play 'fake' but convincing double bass. About 12 or 13 years ago I had it up to a decent 190bpm and could do bursts at slightly higher tempos. I always "muscled" it out though. Things have come a long way in the Metal world and 190bpm is the shallow end of the pool these days. I've been checking out videos from ‪@drumtechniqueacademy‬ and I really dig them. It's a fun challenge to revisit double bass playing and get a clear perspective from the guys that really do it. I've become a bit of a John Longstreth fan boy! Check that guy out! great feel! So I'll post a few more videos here and there as I progress. In this video, I'm blowing around trying to put things together and just kind of, getting my feet 'talking.'
