I haven't even played this game. But my god I'm loving all these english versions. Yeah the japanese versions are great to but the energy of the english versions just hit so much harder

@@hheecckk526 I’m not disputing quality of voice as a factor, I’m saying on equal ground between English and not English, my theory is the English “hits” because that is the language we are the most accustomed to, so we detect the subtleties English has. In another language, it’s various subtleties, being alien to us comparatively, may go undetected.

I look at remixes like this and I remember that they basically removed localised remix lyrics in Megamix. It's so sad, looking back.
Sadly, megamix had a much lower budget than fever.

Welcome to Rhythm Heaven
1. It uses the VI chord alongside the normal IV and V chords, which kicks ass
2. The bridge uses an awesome Em - D - C - B walkdown that sits on the tasty iii chord for a bit
3. The chorus throws in some Am, which means it's switching between G major and E minor, which makes it go so hard as a rock song
4. The intro and outro alternate between G (the root) and F, which is dissonant but still playful because it's borrowing from Lydian
5. Tsunku is just really, really good at making melodies
This sounds surprisingly weird without the Figure Fighter and Built to Scale parts
