This took me a lot longer than I thought to piece everything together...
Anyways, apologies in advance for any naming inconsistencies that might appear here, as well as any games that might be missing/wrongly placed. I forgot both Micro-Rows from Fever, but they are 165 BPM. It's kind of hard and tedious fitting over 200 pieces of footage into one video editor timeline.
Because most non-Megamix games had their values taken from the wiki, plus the fact that the wiki has inaccuracies, some games are not placed where they should actually be. Love lizards, listed here as 204 BPM, is actually 102 BPM. The wiki listed the game as 204 at the time of this video’s creation, which results in its erroneous placement.
Consider this your 1K subscribers milestone special from me.
No endless games, tempo up, 2p, toys, or practice sessions appear here.
If you're unfamiliar with Rhythm Heaven Megamix, you may have noticed that some returning games have a (3DS) beside their name. This does NOT mean that they have been completely replaced, rather, this is widely known as a prequel.
You may have also noticed that most of the games are cut to where the next game will play after a certain amount of beats, in most cases, 16 beats, a lot like in the medley remixes (or as everyone here calls it, Remix 10). This results in some very awkward transitions, as well as some pretty cool ones. My favorite transition would probably be Wii Remix 1 to Wii Remix 9, the transition seems seamless. Here's something you can do... comment your favorite transition!
Most of the BPM values were obtained from the wiki, but some were determined through BPM detection software or by browsing Megamix tempo files.
Games that have a tempo change in the middle of the song will have their normal tempos (unless it's something like Built to Scale Wii, for obvious reasons), slowest part, and fastest part counted in the video (or, at least they should be counted, heh)
There is not that much color coding in the text, the only color coding I did was with the BPM with highest amount of appearances in the video, and the top three fastest games.
Footage comes from the dedicated clip packs for each game in the Rhythm Heaven series, thanks to MF5K and AngryTapper (and according to AngryTapper, AnonUserGuy as well!) for providing these. Search "rhythm heaven clip pack" here on CZcams and the clip packs for each game in the series should be the first few results. - Hry

honestly i was genuinely surprised that not only was remix 8 only the FOURTH fastest tempo in the entire series, but that it wasn't even the fastest REMIX
Remix 4 is quite the troll since it just uses 1/2 of the BPM up until the Munchy Monk part
24:36 I think that ladybird's neck is broken
I don't see it at the video...
19:23 the fact that all shoot'em up games are in order AND follow almost exactly is pretty pog
Almost completely unrelated, but there's just something about DS games at have 3d models moving at 60fps that feels smoother than butter
It’s funny that most people say that the faster and hardest remix in RH DS is remix 8 even though remix 4 has a faster BPM
Also congratulations on getting 1K
I guess now big rock finish is the fastest game since one part has 290 bpm
Technically only munchy monk honors the fast BPM, the other games use every other beat (effectively half the BPM)
it changes remixes so fast people panic

You know, I’m in a high school marching band. Due to the pandemic, we had to come up with a show that allowed for some social distancing. We played during the first and third movements mostly spread out, and pulled our gaiters up during the second movement while percussion played. The second movement was 150 BPM, and we were already having trouble with that. I can’t imagine marching at 200, let alone 290.

The swing of Lockstep 2 helps to make it sound different from songs with the same BPM.
This might be off, but...
This makes the average BPM around 135.55520258621
It also has the sum of 31448.807 BPM
with the count of 232 games listed total
with 131.95 BPM as a median
and having a range of 230 BPM
Because BPM is a rate, you actually need to use the harmonic mean instead of the arithmetic mean. You get that by dividing one by each BPM, take the arithmetic mean, and then divide one by the answer. The median is correct though.
@@rtg_onefourtwoeightfiveseven And what is the harmonic mean, then?
@@lexo632 I'm not going to give an answer purely because I'm too lazy to calculate, but it'd definitely be a lot less than the arithmetic mean - possibly quite close to the slowest BPM in the list.
