He spoke to euronews' Isabel Kumar at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
Isabelle Kumar: "Mike Tyson, many thanks for joining me on the Global Conversation. You are here to perform your one-man show "The Undisputed Truth." It charts the ups and downs…

SaxJunkie LOOPS “Humbleness” is actually the noun form of Humble. Since humility denotes action, it wouldn’t have been accurate for Mike to utilize the word humility as he was suggesting that one didn’t particularly have it in this case hence “humbleness” characterizing the act of being humble, he was spot on as to suggest that it (in this case “Humbleness”) can be thrusted upon you then you can make the decision to exercise humility.

He was built up to be the toughest guy on the planet, pumped full of steroids ( i would imagin ).......prodded by the media to act like a maniac, robbed by those he trusted, raised without a father and with a drug addict mother and ppl wanna act suprised that he wasnt a perfect little choir boy. humbling, a lesson Mayweather needs to learn, if his father didn't humble him, then perhaps Tyson would humble him. He sure can. Mayweather has millions of dollars in his bank account and has never had to fight Tyson so no wonder he doesn't have to be humble, he sure as hell wouldn't move back to Grand Rapids, Michigan.

this was a great interview. Mike Tyson is one of the true icons for me and my generation. As a teen I was so excited by the hype and huge knockouts of the 80s. And in the 90s while Mike was struggling with defeat, drugs, rape conviction, etc. I had recently graduated high school and was struggling with becoming an adult and feeling defeat, struggling with insecurities. experimenting with drugs, drinking too much and getting in trouble. Its almost like he lived the very extreme version of my own life and the people I grew up with. He was always doing it one step ahead of us because he was a little older. He looks back on his own life and feels at peace and is humbled just as I am now. I hope everyone who was a teenage boy in 1985 cheering on Mike and his first rd KOs has grown up, made it thru those lost troubled years and found their place in the world and has peace in it. Thanks Mike.

It's interesting how many people comment on how wise or how humble Mike Tyson is. I like the guy but ultimately what's important is how you live your life not what you say. Talk is cheap. Tysons life is characterised by extremes, contradiction, confusion, addiction and chaos. It's what makes him interesting. We relate to what he is because it's present in us all, except in Mike it's magnified. He's mellowed in later years but the addict in him knows it could all be turned upside down in the morning so he's reluctant to say he's at peace. He needs to be on guard because if he becomes complacent he could wake up in the gutter.

this is one man who can sit down with people and give a good account of what can happen when young people are not nurtured but sadly used. but by his own admission he had to go through it all to see the wisdom life can enforce upon us all. i love listening to this man. he is so brutally honest about himself and all he wants now is to be loved . we all love him dearly. thank the Almighty he gave us Mike Tyson . first and foremost a human being . long may the Lord keep Mike safe and his family.

I really have a profound love for mike Tyson. The only fight I ever saw was the Holyfield fight and I was 14 just hanging around older guys who could afford to paid for it but I wasn’t ever a fighter. I really just feel a deep caring for his pain growing up and how he got though it. I’m still trying to get through mine.
