Look at what his workload has been in past regular szns and playoffs… He now has 2 co-stars to do a lot of heavy lifting , & a 2 guard who can go off for 15-25 on any night (Oubre) & finally a backup big (Drummond) that can provide valuable minutes of defense & rebounding when Embiid is on the bench

A big reason why there hasn’t been a back to back champ since the ‘18 Warriors is because the defending champ has been hit with an injury to one of their top 2 players since then which has led to some teams being out of sync by the time the playoffs roll around.
Perk really gifted this man an MVP because aint no way an MVP shouldn't be able to help lead his team not only in the playoffs but for a ring. You dont see passes given to MVPs like this. At least not recently

I thought CP3 should’ve returned to Phoenix. But since he spent years in Houston, he didn’t mind living in Texas again. I figure it’s his last year as he turns 40 next year in Year 20. He usually thrives as a mentor and not when other stars with big egos are around. One of his best seasons was his lone year in OKC mentoring Shai and other kids. Then his first season in Phoenix making the Finals.
I don’t think the Atlantic division has the three best teams. NYC and Philly are still a bit unproven. Boston or Miami has won the East four of the last five years with the lone one by Milwaukee in 2021. NYC is extremely beatable and they did lose Hartenstein. While Philly has never made it passed the second round in two decades.
From the free agency I’ve seen so far, Skip Bayless’ OKC looks like a dark horse and looks improved. Dallas and OKC improved but Denver and Minny didn’t.
