The way Carlo interacts with strangers and people working behind the counter, you can tell he’s a genuinely nice guy.
That's actually like very typical italian warmth, specially in the South.
CARLO'S beautiful quality is so missing, the world, despite so called wokedom, has become a far meaner place.

Good for Carlo for retaining his Italianness - His little mistakes are what make him charming ans at least he tries. I like the way he corrects Americans way of mispronouncing Italian words like ricotta (Recada). I was once corrected by a cute Italian guy for the way I pronounced bruschetta (brewshetta)....."no, no, no Brewsketta". I took his correction and never looked back.
Carlo reminds me so much of my Italian father- in -law. His name is Carlo also and they have a lot of the same funny mannerisms. He was from near Frosinone and watching Carlo brings back many great memories of him. Grazie 🇮🇹🇺🇸
I Love how he rates the pizza with honesty and how passionate he is about his culture's heritage with what is and isn't real Italian food!

I have binge watched Sarah and Carlo for a couple of hours now- just the title of this video had me laughing because I could imagine the horror of tasting some of these so called Italian foods that no longer are true to the way they are made in Italy! I will never ever ever forget my first American pizza with “Italian sausage “ - I refused to eat pizza for a very long time after that! Sometimes, when I think about it, I can still smell and imagine the taste of the real deal and it makes my mouth water!
I absolutely am in love this beautiful young couple and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness together!
Makes me smile knowing I was not the only food grinch … just like they think if it has sauerkraut, it’s German, if it has oregano or mozzarella or pepperoni, it’s Italian! No, no, noooooooo! In my humble opinion, the importance of patience and flavor doesn’t exist in American cooking

Carlo's appeal might depend on _not_ knowing any American culture. If he gains fluency and cultural awareness, and starts having his own takes on things, the channel may suffer. And if Sarah fell in love with the naive exotic and not the man inside, the marriage may suffer.
I hope not. I am a cynic about real love - seeing a woman as loving as Sarah makes me mourn for what I've lost out on. But I always hold out for _true_ love. Love that grows us singly and together, and does not hold us back.
Shes got to stop needling him. A point will come that he'll start resenting her. Its cute and funny at first, but it should stop.

0:46 we also have mozzarelline fritte! Little mozzarella ball (of fior di latte, like the actual fresh one) breaded and fried. At least here in Rome, in pizzerias you find them among the fried stuff.

My wife is from northern italy, and I love when you put in 'fing' or f when it is the 'th' sound..haha ....wife does the same..I tease and say she says 'Dis, Dat, and the other Fing'. She is more forgiving of the 'americanized' italian stuff, since she lived in USA since the age of 9..haha
You are right, Greg, we don't have the "th" sound at all in Italian, as well as no other sound that is something similar, and we generally struggle a lot with this sound, when we learn English.
Lmao, it took a lil while to get the part 2. Wow that pizza @ the restaurant with the ham on top left my mouth watering! Lmao @ Carlo's reaction to the cannoli & the 50 mispronunciations! Sarah is a grown up with a pure baby face : )

Will you take him to the Hampton Beach seafood festival? They should have some decent seafood he may like. He can try Blink's fried dough while you are there. It would be interesting for his opinion of "beach" pizza too. Stop into Tripoli's if you haven't already had him try it. I don't think he will like it, but it's been around for a long time. I don't think their bakery items are there that the beach though. That might be an interesting video to go to a location that has bakery items.
