Love that Matteo dresses like an 80s ski villain
The Gang Hits the Slopes
"We eat them here? Let's find a bench" is the most European sentence Francesco could've said.
And not being able to find one is the most American thing 😂
@@macmcc and there is a park literally over the street! :D
There were benches about 100 feet from where they stood
'im gonna say something controversial. if you're in your early 100s you can't drive" sIR I WAS DRINKING
It wasn't bad driving, he was just in the way
you were drinking and driving???
Are you in your early 100s?
he just hustled pastries from his own people 😂😂😂
I love hearing Matteo speak italian. It's like music to my ears.❤
seriously! I want private lessons from Matteo!
"Let's do it in front of a church where I'm going straight to hell" I'm done with you 😂
I'm from Boston. I ALWAYS recommend Mike's Pastry when asked where they should go for an authentic Boston experience. I've sent so many people there I should get a freakin commission.
100% agree, Mike's is a must!
With so much ugliness going on it is really refreshing to see folks being nice to each other! Makes my heart smile. Great video!
I grew up in Boston and the North end is one giant family neighborhood. It’s the best and so welcoming ❤️❤️
Matteo is so chill; he’s thanking fans that come up to him in Italian too 🥰
My ex's family originates from Sicily. The Grandmother still sends me a homemade panettone every Christmas. This has happened for the last 22 years.
God bless her
“He just hustled pastries from his own people.” 😂😂
Your friendship with Francesco is so precious! And so glad he is doing shows in the US
I love that Matteo is quickly becoming the golden gay Godfather wherever he goes.
He gets dapped up, they know who he is, and he gets free stuff. What a fucking king! ❤
I called out of work to see your Boston show! I drove almost 3 hours from Maine. I loved every second of it! I invited my husband too, but he told me “I won’t stop you, but I can’t encourage your decision.” Totally worth it though.
Is it something that really brought you joy and was totally worth it? If so, I really don't love that response.
😂 I'm dying.. When Francesco asked to have italian music while he drinks his coffee, there was loads of portuguese flags on the TV behind him!!
Instant like for Boston (and for Mateo).
I haven't seen Matteo this happy since that giant truck filled with poppers overturned and spilled its contents on the highway. Those pastries must be reallllllyyyy good if it makes Matteo that happy. And Matteo has put A LOT of things in his mouth in his lifetime! Just kidding..
ggguuurrrlllllll??!!!! LOL
We know she has. 🤣🤣🤣
Daniel!! Gurl!!!😂
I live for these videos! When I'm feeling down and I see a new Mateo video mood changed!
Me to!😊
In 30 secondi ,nel negozio si è creato lo spirito italiano ...cibo cultura, allegria ,amicizia!
The North end is one of my favorite areas pretty much in life. Mike's I was raised on for all holidays(aunties bringing them in) My mother who baked everything from scratch for days before even loved it. I'm surprised it is your first time there. I HOPE you were able to have a good dinner somewhere there are some great cooks in the North end. This brought a smile to my face, thank you. Happy Holidays Matteo🥰 P.S. True, never fill a cannoli more than a few minutes before biting in. Pistachio yum
Modern > mike's , I will die on this hill. 😂
lol it was better when no one (tourists) knew about Modern tho…
This is the only correct answer
This is the correct answer.
There's nothing in the world that connects people quite like hearing your native language from them. Learn languages! See the world!
I love this! Do more of these little italy expeditions from city to city, please!
I used to walk over for lunch decades ago to get arancini at a tiny cafe and a cannoli from Mike's Pastry for later. This was a little nostalgic love letter to my young soul. ❤
Glad you enjoyed yourselves! Haven't been to the North End in forever. BTW, the show was GREAT! You all killed it! You definitely earned all that deliciousness! Ciao!
Watching them eat that cannoli is making me die to go back to Italy for a few more months again..... the food is just unparalleled!!
Great visit, love the North End! Also great videography! Super job Chris!
This has got to be the first vlog that didn't become a roast!
I miss Italy so much! We would get the best cannolis near our house. They made them exactly like the pastry shop in Boston.
As an italian native speaker living in Italy I must say that Matteo is one of the "true" italian-americans, in the sense that he does speak the language (actually quite well: yes he has an american accent but his phrasing and vocabulary are good) and still shows "real" italian behavioural aspects. In my experience most americans of italian descent love to say they're italian but often they can only say a few words, mostly in a 100 years old regional dialect that has been passed on by their great-grandparents and that results incomprehensible to modern italian ears, and their food and habits are a completely americanised version of the original ones. Nothing wrong in that, but the few italo-americans who still have a strong bond with the language and original habits, like Matteo, do stand out and make it more natural for us italians to relate. Always enjoy the Matteo-Francesco videos, keep up the good work!
“ if your in your early hundred’s , then you can’t drive”
😂🤣😂🤣 I’m dead on the floor ☠️
P.s I LOVE CHRIS’S little Giggle laughs
Let's be honest here; Matteo LOVES showing off his Italian and I'm here for it! 😅 also, who hasn't had a cannoli before?! 🙄
Me. Seems like too much filling.
Most of Boston is a “park of dead people” there’s so many old ass cemeteries. Also I may have left a decade ago, but I will always rep Bova’s for those of us who don’t like overcrowded shops/massive lines. Ciao!
Sorry we just gonna ignore matteos jacket looks like somethin out of the 90s, bringin some nostalgia
The visit to the pastry shop was so wholesome ❤
What a great video! I just love when you do these. Your friends are so fun.
The Boston show was amazing was so great seeing Francesco for the 1st time. From Brockton which is close to Boston n now I have a party shop to try will let them know it’s cause of you Matteo 💙💙
My grandfather was Sicilian and lived on the South Shore in Hingham. He would take me to a grocery store in Little Italy. My Grampy would let me get a gelato at the end and then eat most of it. We also got a pound of that white hard, white chewy stuff with nuts and fruit bits in it.
On the way home we would stop in a different part of Boston and get star bread. I learned later it was called star bread by my Grampy because a star label. It was a a Star of David. It was challah. My family called challah 'Star Bread'. *sighs*
Great editing to Chris. That’s a LOT of footage to make flow nicely!
Aminah Imani!!! She's one of the most underrated comedians! She's so great
Another fantastic video, thank you!
Love love love these videos with Francesco ❤
You never disappoint. Love ya.
I had to laugh. Chooch is a term of endearment in Cherokee for a male child. My great-nephew’s mother is Italian American, so I guess I shouldn’t call him Chooch around her. 😂
All of ur videos are hilarious
I love Boston’s north end , it’s so fun but I hate how it gets so crowded
Awesome video! This looked like a complete blast! I love that they took total care of you! So much fun!
that was my favorite video of yours so far. so chill. i grew up there. nice memories. yay me.
Mike’s is honestly the best. Glad you enjoyed it.
Yay. So glad you loved it! I was holding my breath while you tried the cannoli. Lol.
Loved it!
This was a lot of fun!
Does Chris ever get to eat?😅 I love italian language and dilect.
Aww, the Mike's Pastry people were so cute and funny!!!
*No stop stereotypical Italian background music*
"Put on some Italian background music while I'm drinking espresso"
*Same music LOUDER*
I loved this! 🇮🇹
Love you Matteo. Can't wait to see you this Saturday in San Diego.
Loved it ❤
I remember the other espresso episodes!!!❤❤❤😂😂😂
Those cannolis looked tasty ❤
Mike’s is #1 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼
The one time I went to Boston was for my best friend's wedding. The bride was from there. After flying into town, I made my way downtown near Faneuil Hall and called my friend to come pick me up. During my wait I observed multiple almost accidents, including a car that looked like it was going to drive onto the sidewalk and run me over.
Your comment about the grandfather driving brought that back to me. Many places can be known for horrible drivers, but Boston has topped my list since then, and stayed there for 30 years since. My New York experience was better because the drivers couldn't really exhibit the scope of their skills or lack of them, due to the continuously grid locked traffic.
I once ate 3 Mikes pistacio cannolis within a 12 hour span!
Come back to Boston please sir! We missed you
9:05, huh.. I wonder how Italians feel at a metal band concert.
Aminah saying ciao 😂😂
Hmm. My experience at Mike's was like ordering from the Soup Nazi. Ruthlessly efficient, brusque, busy...but darn good cannoli that were well worth the abuse.
As soon as you guys start speaking italian i'm kind of wet. love it.
Hey I went to BOSTON during the Italian street festival in the fall. Yasss epic food, street venders
Being advertised to for my next excursion in the north end (effective)
Glad you liked north end! I haven't been in years, this is making me want to take a trip lol sad i missed your show though😔
Mike's is amazing! We regularly drive down from central NH to get our pastries!
Matteo I'm going to your show in San Diego this Friday and I'm so excited!! FYI we have a very cute Little Italy here too.
Hey Chris Caso, you are videographer of the year 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I learned so much!
Note to self: No slidewhistle playing pointing down while facing fist palms out.
I love his yellow Duck shirt. I want one so bad.
Mike's è il migliore! Glad you got to sample the best of the North End's cuisine, hospitality and culture. Next best thing to the old country. You all deserve it! ❤🇮🇹🌈
Time to take a trip to the North End!
Mateo rocking that Kawasaki jacket
She's got a point, it's like a sweet taco you're holding. I Love Cannolis
Damn didn’t know you were in Boston. Crazy to see you do a video on my city
Tanto mille Grazie 🎉 🤩
lovely
Saw you at the Wilbur on the 17th…….Awesome show! Mike’s is the best.
Matteo is dressed fully John Cusack in Better off Dead.
So many other great places other than Mike's in the North End! Love Matteo! Get off the main drag!
06:20 I‘m from northern europe and I felt that in my soul… How can you even say Gelato and still be clueless about its connections to italy…
Jelly as Helly😮❤
Mikes pastry will always be elite
Mark Normand has competition, cause this Bromance is next level entertainment. Please do more content together. Sincerely, everyone. 😊
Omg I love the north end
Welcome to my stomping grounds 🙏🏼🤍
I wish I knew you were here !!!! I'm right down the street
Awww Chris - nobody shared their cannoli with you.
My hometown! ❤
Im obsessed with Aminah!!!
Come to Edmonton. You’ll be adored here.
Matteo, you are dressed like my dad from the nineties!
That area is my favorite place in boston to walk around at
