Peaceful Woodland Ambience (Bird Sounds, No Wind or Water, Morning, Early-Spring)

- 38 one-minute nature scenes with matching audio (headphones recommended!) slowly fading between one another and looped for almost 4 hours to create a continuous ambient nature soundscape. For whether you just enjoy the sight & sounds of nature, or for relaxation, sleep, studying, gaming, work, etc., etc.
These original recordings were captured live onsite in the woods of Pennsylvania one morning in early Spring (late March) from 7:30AM to 10:30AM (yes, it took ~3 hours to walk around and capture ~40 minutes worth of audio & video). There was hardly any wind, but occasionally you will notice slight movement of the branches. Unfortunately, none of the birds that are heard end up being seen in the footage, except for a lone crow flying overhead during one scene.
It is impossible to put timestamps for the various birds since multiple can be heard at the same time. I will be doing a video soon where I use BirdNET Analyzer software to analyze the audio file of this video so that we can identify & listen to the various bird songs and calls.
Birds heard in this video:
- White-throated Sparrow
- Northern Cardinal
- American Crow
- Baltimore Oriole
- Yellow-throated Warbler
- Red-headed Woodpecker
- Pileated Woodpecker
- Red-bellied Woodpecker
- Downy Woodpecker
- Blue Jay
- Brown-headed Cowbird
- Northern Flicker
- Mourning Dove
- Eastern Towhee
- Tufted Titmouse
- Winter Wren
- Red-tailed Hawk
- Northern Goshawk
- Song Thrush
- Brown Creeper
- Golden-crowned Kinglet
- Bachman's Sparrow
- Swainson's Warbler

The sound of the birds chirping can be pretty nice, nature itself can be very relaxing. Just going for a walk admiring the serenity of it all
Wonderful to not hear any obnoxious barking, shrieking and howling dogs. Constant dog noise pollution almost made me end up under a tombstone.
Yes I hate the city noise. But its a privilege to live close to nature.
I like how you went back to basics. Simple, but effective
Thank you for these uploads Ephermeral Rift! I used to live in Western PA and putting these videos on while I work reminds me of being a kid and playing out in the woods!
Well I've enjoyed being out in the woods when I was a kid too, so maybe that's part of the reason
In the age of slapped-together synthetic ambience videos, this is the gem I needed. Thank you so much.
This is a very good made video and I have been a follower of this channel for a couple of years. He never seems to fall short of my expectations and for that I'm very grateful.
👍👍👃✌️🇨🇦
Спасибо дорогой американец! Люблю тебя! Мы, русские, не звери. Я твой давний поклонник, молодец что не бросаешь канал и придумываешь все время что-то новенькое!
Beautiful! It’s so interesting to compare the sounds of the Pennsylvania woodland to the English countryside where I live. There are so many similarities … and differences even though the March weather looks fairly similar. This is so peaceful and beautifully edited; thank you 🙏
i wish i could travel the world and see your neck of the woods ;) maybe one day...
Going back to the old school type videos recently uncle E , love it
this is so beautiful, thank you ephemeral rift for capturing this and walking around to record it. this brings me back
'Merlin' is a great phone app to analyze birdsongs, too, if you're out in the wilderness and want to identify the birdies singing. Great captures, Paul. Keep on inventing! 🤘🐦🤘
Yep, that's a good app!
Very nice 😍. It's always calm before the storm.. And then Corvus arrives. And suddenly there is FIRE in my loins..
its peaceful here, thank you.
I just wanna relax man
discovered you when i was browsing field recordings few years ago so this is a nice callback. glad you're still sticking around doin your thang
oh to be lucky enough to live near the woods again, so that I may nap in a hammock in the backyard and listen to birds yell at each other
Beauty of morning forest.
Thank you for the this outdoor ASMR series you've been doing lately Ephemeral Rift. Its been splendtastic.
thanks for tuning in! I don't plan on stopping any time soon, though I do need to get back to the other creative videos at some point. For now, this is what I feel "need" to do ;)
@@EphemeralRift please keep it going for as long as you want/need. I've been enjoying it. You are the best
If only car lock horns sounded like different assorted bird calls. The apartment complex that I stay at would sound simulatively nice like nature!
Perfect sound 👌👍
Helps a lot, appreciated💚
Relax to the max...and first
Hey, it’s been a while since I have commented on one of your videos, but I truly loved your guessing things about you videos. Looking forward to watch one of those 😉.
didn't I do a bunch of those already? I doubt I'll do another any time soon. I don't like doing the same idea more than once if I can help it, 2 or 3 times tops.
Yeah your right… you did a lot of questionnaires like those. But I still think that having to think and answer in your head are really effective to relax and change your mind. Thanks for the answers btw I appreciate it 😄
There's only a few places I've visited where I could not hear any manmade sounds for a period of time. Two of them were in Sedona, NM while hiking on the way up to Wilson Mtn and in St. John, (USVI) on the Reef Bay Trail on the VI Nat'l Park. It is an awe-inspiring feat to bask in utter silence!
Wonderful to not hear any obnoxious barking, shrieking and howling dogs. 🤮
I'd be okay with wolves and foxes, to an extent. @@SatanenPerkele
@@Lucianato2 Those are at least natural animals. Dogs and dog barking is NOT natural or part of nature. Dogs produce such horrendous noise pollution. They are literally designed by humans to be extremely loud. No other natural animal is that non stop obnoxiously loud.
massive character development
Just in time Uncle E!
Peaceful woodland ambience is okay, but for me, it is the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich.
Im thinking you eat enough McChickens to give a grizzly bear diabetes
@@CladGuyI'm thinking they need to sod off back to 2009
What about the deluxe mcchicken
vaild opinion
McChicken poster is dedicated to the craft, been appearing for years I swear
Ah, The Ticket Man was not lying about these tickets for witnessing the early spring birds choir from the [REDACTED] Woods, it's really peaceful here...
You would play a perfect Dr. Strange
L O V E Q U A L I T Y
Strange production question: do you just set up a mic and camera and then sit there while it records? Can you walk away and leave it? I do like the idea of you sitting outside for several hours, maybe reading a book, just enjoying the day while
The equipment does all the work, lol.
Well this video has over 30 different scenes, so not just pointing at 1 thing for an hour.
But I point the camera/mic at what I'm recording and I stand still as possible a few feet away so the mic doesn't pick up any subtle sounds I might make (stomach growling, breathing, etc)
@@EphemeralRift Thanks for replying, I do appreciate it and your work. Thanks again!
You should play the Oregon trail on a computer. The sound of clicks and you whispering the dialogue. It's an idea.
If i ever get back indoors to make a video we'll see ;) I'll add it to my ever growing list
Damn that is a big drop in viewership for uncle E
It's rare for nature videos to "get views", not that I ever gave a fuck about views to begin with. Happens once in awhile, like with my "Wind in the Trees" for example. But again, I don't chase views, clickbait, etc.
@@EphemeralRift Makes sense and I know you are not after the views. Probably one of the things that gets you distinguished. I'm just surprised given your following. I'm probably one of the few people out there that I've watched every single one of your videos and some multiple times.
I just want you to be okay 💙
Helo :D
Love u Unc ❤
😊
Make a Fear and Hunger ASMR
I love these videos, but I need a typical out of the ordinary definitely not out of ideas type of ASMR video But I do use this for while I’m at school these videos are handy but I need to good old Uncle E ASMR video ❤❤❤
Rift should i eat soup ir chickhen tomorrow?
Wonderful to not hear any obnoxious barking, shrieking and howling dogs.
and the loud obnoxious people and their conversations
@@EphemeralRift Dogs can howl, shriek and bark over 100 decibels 24/7. Humans would quickly lose their voice if they screamed on top of their lungs non stop. That's why dog noise pollution is so much more obnoxious. Dogs were literally designed to be like an ongoing alarm.
Ephemeral Rift returns to his roots

I suppose this Channel will end where it started
I like to think this nature stint I'm on is just a phase, because I do need to get back to doing at least 1 indoor video (forming the Arkham Sanitarium band), but for now, and for the next weeks and months to come, I don't see me coming back indoors anytime soon lol
Honestly I think it’s poetic in a way
Nope, just genius recharging..... 🥰🥰✌️🇨🇦
Hope the band didn't break up already 😐
haha!
Uncle e, could you check out the edit i made of you?
I checked it out. That's pretty sweet man. Good job
@@JED-DogsBestFriend thank you, I am very grateful
