What do you think, can i use ecumaster det3 with my project? Just starting to collect stuff for my pinto turbo project, stock 2.0is 85kw engine with rebuilt head. What other stuff i need to collect too? Some ignition controller or can i run with stock dizzy somehow? IS has that dizzy with hall sensor built in i think, aka big dizzy. How much hp can stock new 100L fuel pump produce, good for like 130-150kw which im aiming for
Det 3 is fine if you use it as fuel implant. If budget this is best way to go + maf delete with map sensor built in. You will need to find pinouts from ecu or trace cables (injectors, etc). I wanted det3 but sierra is my car and i wont sell it.. so i invest on ecumaster black... think that you will still need to buy wideband + controller and others.
As for spark, thing like edis, coilpacks conversions... But is it posible to run on electronic dizzy.. i think it wont let you tune ignition as much. i guess as 'I DONT KNOW' its max 8-10 degrees
det 3 is really good, u just plug in to your existing cables and is less hassle than new standalone. and if u get bored u always can remove it and plug cables how they were
