Glover is good, but he's more hittable than Jiri, and is already at a disadvantage starting this fight on the feet. This fight is hard to call, honestly.
I mean a lot of people are sleeping on Glover but Jiri is no different, many people sleep on him too. Pretending that Glover is a big underdog just so he can "prove everyone wrong" again is a bit silly. This fight is a toss up, I can see both Jiri and Glover dominating if they enforce their style.

Jiri has great pressure, versatility, ko power from various angles, and also endurance that we rarely see in the light heavyweight division. Truly something special. I would even say he has the best chance of besting JJ the way he beat Dom. Maybe not by TKO because of JJs great defense but a unanimous decision. Just my opinion.

Jiri will retire Glover, it's better for the division.
I like Glover and if he has to lose to anybody I think Jiri is the guy that would compliment him the most. Losing to Jiri would be no shame at all. But Glover is still dangerous and he very well may put Jiri to sleep.

I think if Glover can put him on his back we will find out really quickly if Jiri is champ material. His pressure is insane but it does offer Glover many opportunities for takedowns or to clinch and bring it to the mat

So fun to read all these comments just to find out that everyone got it wrong. It wasn’t Glovers age, Jiri didn’t get gassed out, he didn’t tap out either, Glover didn’t submit him first round. I listened to prob 15 or more CZcams videos about mma predicting how the is fight would play out. So repetitious all those comments about age, and why do people even make narrow predictions like KO first round. Anyway, most of the “predicting” turned out to be inaccurate. Love how people demand with certainty to be RIGHT ON POINT oh well maybe next time… 😅

You may be right, Jiri hadn't much fights in the Ufc however he was extremely successful in his fighting career before the Ufc. I don't know what the name of the organization is, but he has a huge winning streak and most wins were by knockout. Every great fighter starts somewhere, there is something about him that makes me think he soon will be the champion in his weight division. Really tall, extreme reach, great power, unorthodox, great endurance, young, confident like a warrior, steel chin, unpredictable moves like the flying knee is what makes him great. The only thing he has to work on is his head movement, all in one we can see he is a solid fighter. Dude got a warrior mindset, let's see how the fight will end.
