The church I grew up in was very into teaching the old hell fire and brimstone. We need more of that today teaching God's law.
I've heard Ray preach that if you only preach HELL, you get fear-filled converts. But if you preach the LAW, you'll get tear-filled converts.
Gods word preaches hell and heaven, the law and sin, mercy and grace, damnation and salvation. Any church that leaves out any part, may not be part of His church.
Ray Comfort is one the best teachers I have found. Thank you, Lord.

YES the fear! I'm so glad you said that it's a spirit of fear, Pastor Ray! That makes so much sense. I'm a missionary in the hills of Brazil. Single female, drug lords and gun violence, police shootings, the only white "gringa" in the whole town...and I have no fear. I'm open and proud of my faith in Jesus. But as soon as I feel the urge to witness to people on the street, this paralyzing fear takes over. And then once the opportunity passes, accusation and condemnation come in. That it's a spirit makes so much sense and brings clarity to whats going on.

Gratitude... you would have to chain me to the Pew and duct tape my mouth to keep me from screaming his wondrous salvation that saved a Wretch like Me.
... and if I could close my ears to his commands to confess him before men and if I could sear my conscience of the Gratitude I feel I would yet Proclaim him from the mountain tops because he is Worthy.
He is my treasure, and if no one listens they will go to hell as Spurgeon said, "with my arms wrapped around their knees begging them not to go."

@@SabsmomaSabriel usually do take someone with on most outreaches. Still struggling locally with Christians and finding no passion to see souls saved but on the bright side I've been bumping into some newer people who either want to learn or are already doing stuff, it's just spread out often times in other cities. But I'll take it! The fellowship and bonds formed are very strong.
His Bible is worth more than any trophy or other material possession that you could strive for. The riches he stored up for himself in heaven, by immersing himself in the Bible will be quite a sight.

Please pray for me. I'm not going to lie, I started watching your videos some months ago and it was no more than a form of christian entertainment. Wholesome and approved by God. The more I watched (watch), the conviction grows in my heart that this is what I must do. And I admit the thought of telling people who may hate me for it or laugh or point their fingers and say something like, but weren't you the one who did such and such, who are you to tell me. I have been raised a ”christian” all my life and I think I was saved thanks to the truth preached and proclaimed by Ray through his evangelisations (2020-2022 something). Before that I just got out of the charismatic movement such as Sid Roth and c:o because my wife told me I got the wrong end of it (I was mesmerized by all the spiritual fruit stuff going on). Then the Holy Spirit led me to Living Waters. Thank God for that!

thank you for this.. as usual Ray is uplifting.. funny and inspiring. Ray uses examples in life to show God's truth. It gets you thinking... thank you for not walking away from talking to people about the gospel out of fear or passivity. I am in awe of how you keep composure and are not judgemental. you can see you come from love and genuine concern. people will put u down because you really do shake their foundations and what they think. thank you for your ministry and for never stopping giving people the gospel and warning them of the judgment to come. many blessings!
Please pray for me to be able to gather enough courage to start evangelizing in Sweden where I live. Swedes are probably the least talkative people in the world and I’m especially sociophobic compared to Swedish standards. I have a fire in my heart that tells me I must tell everyone about the true gospel and it is trying to clawing itself out of me, I just have to do it and I’m thankful for that, but I fear I’m not prepared enough and I fear striking up a conversation with random people, which is something we Swedes are really bad at.
Let the Holy Spirit guide you. The fact that you want to do it says a lot already.
As for striking up conversations etc. remember this chapter. Please. Matthew 10: 19-21
19 When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.
20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

I can't wait to registered to the The Biblical School of Evangelism. I have never heard evangelism from Ray's perspective and I'm glad that is biblical and center in God's grace and love. Thank you Ray , you have helped me to open my eyes and realize what is to be a truly servant of GOD. Many years ago , I was involved in church and all kinds of ministries and activities inside the church. I did also Evangelism work when I was only 16 years old, but I backslide and walk away from the Lord. Years past by and I completely forgot about God until recently God in his amazing grace and forgiveness decided to call me back again and give me a second chance that which I'm extremely grateful. But this time I said to the Lord : I don't want to be in church but really want to be in Christ. I have joined a local church my heart is to do the will of God more than to become a church ministry and losing the real purpose of my calling to the kingdom of God . I mean there is nothing wrong to join a church and fellowship with our brothers and sister in the Lord but my main reason and purpose is to win souls for Christ . Thank you Ray . God has used to speak to my heart and answered my prayer. Blessings and I'm looking forward to get the online course. I'm praying God will provide support so I can do that . Thank you again

I have the book. We order it and it was one of the best investments in book that we took as a church. I live in Serbia and reading this book, all I can say is that my preaching has changed, resulting in people around me saying after giving one example of testifying to someone according to the book, saying - that is the evangelism in simple and effective way said. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to be effective in his preaching and witnessing to others for Christ. You think you know it all? Just read this book and you will change your testifying to others forever but mostly for the benefit of unsaved.
Is there an old earth creationist? I don't know how much is the earth old but I do believe God created everything, even the earth. I don't believe that nothing created everything. And I do know that only life can create life. Life can not 'start' by its self which brings all thing at start to a Creator, the origin of life.
Have you read what is written in Acts 17:30,31? And in Hebrews 9:27? If you receive Jesus in your heart without repenting, do you know what happens? Read Mathew 7:21-23. You can do the right thing, but still miss the point. We need Jesus because he paid our fine for our sins. You can turn from sins in a way that you have no longer desire to make sin or to do sin but to go in other direction contrary to sin. Doing good deeds without the change of heart is worth nothing because God will judge all the world.
I think that you just misinterped what was his saying. To turn from sins doesn't mean to become sinless without the need for salvation. I didn't find anywhere where they said that you don't need salvation. Did you?

Re≠ around the 17:30 mark: I haven't had an evangelist actually collar me on the street to share the Gospel, but then Holy Spirit didn't tell them to, because He knows that I already know. But I have passed many an open air preacher, which warmed my heart. I also have a brother-in-law who was approached by an evangelist when he had not yet given his life to the Saviour...the Holy Spirit isn't stupid and guides us specifically whom to speak to...

It's so true. Sin is watered down so much in this "everything goes" society. Many churches have gave into man instead of standing on the firm foundation of God. There still some who go by the Bible but not nearly enough.

Ray, I was born again as a teenager, but I had no guidance and was quickly drawn far off the path. I educated myself on other folk religions such as voodoo, Satanism, thelema etc. About a year ago ( I’m in my 50’s now) I decided to try to find my way home and started reading my Bible again. I have been thinking much more seriously about renewing my vows to God the lord Jesus Christ. Which I have done. I have sinned so much and so deeply. I know it’s going to be hard to remove myself from certain sinful things, such as personal relationships and stuff. I have always been a musician and always sung gospel blues. This is my entrance into evangelism, singing about the glory of the Lord. I recently discovered you and your videos and you put it into perfect sense for me. Thank you truly for showing me that I’m on the right path, as difficult as it is. God bless you Mr. Comfort 🙏❤️😀

Ray is wrong...evangelizing the lost is the most rewarding and exciting thing I can think of...I love sharing the Gospel with the lost and thinking of all kinds of different ways to do it...the key is learning to love the lost as you love your self and growing a desire to see them saved.
Ray does love everyone, and what he does, he is just being honest about how difficult it can be sometimes. I've seen some of the people Ray has evangelised, pretty scary, especially for a small man like Ray.
My flesh never wants to evangelize. But my spirit does. I have more growing to do.
