Hi there, when Burger King decided to branch out to Australia, the name Burger King was already trademarked. Therefore, they changed the name to Hungry Jacks and are basically the same thing.

Yes to both questions. When Burger King expanded to Australia, there was already a food place called Burger King so they had to change the name.
