lol what problem is driverless cars solving again?
Corporate expenses. The companies needing to have human drivers and all of the expenses that come with having human employees at every level. That is the entire point of automation in any industry. Welcome to capitalism.
People with social anxiety that are afraid of reality
@@FrisbeeGirlNah, welcome to socialism.
@@FrisbeeGirl those human drivers aren’t employees, they’re “independent” contractors. If anything, they would have to spend a lot more money trying to maintain a huge fleet of vehicles, constantly trying to innovate driverless car technology than they would underpaying contractors to maintain their own vehicles.
Edit: not saying you’re wrong (or right) because I agree with you those are definitely the reasons to go to artificial “intelligence” for large corporations

Who the hell gave the DMV the sole right to allow self driving cars? WTF!
Anyone been asked by their city councilman or state representative what they want?
Ignorant idea from an ignorant state
So if a "driverless" car runs over my child, who's responsible? The CEO of the company that built it? Or will they throw the software developer, or the assembly line worker under the bus?
regulate means the gov will need to get theirs $$$
