It seems like yesterday when Dennis Richmond retired. He definitely looks older, but good to see he's still with us.
It's hard to believe Dennis retired 16 years ago.
@3ofus135 Yes, it is hard to believe it's been 16 years. 😮Time flies, he looks good.
@@kimb8078 I was surprised to see how much older he looks now. He was a bedrock fixture in local news for so long. Now, he looks so frail. We can't fault age or curse time. It is the nature of all things.
@Cletus_the_Elder Yes, time goes by so fast, and unfortunately, a lot of things come with aging. I remember watching him years and years ago. He does look so frail. But it was so good to see him. You often wonder about people when they retire and see them years after. 🙂🌷
I’m 39 now and grew up to these two. She still looks the same. Happy retirement ❤
I grew up watching Dennis and Julie. Watching both of them on KTVU was like family on television. Every day there they were in our Bay Area living rooms. I remember when Dennis retired and now Julie. Thank you both and happy retirement. ❤
I grew up watching Dennis Richmond with Elaine Corral then Leslie Griffin who I met at a Whole Foods. Now Julie Haner is retiring 🤓 wow!
I met Dennis when i was 17 years old at my firs job at a car wash. He was such a nice and humble man to meet. It's an honor to shake his hand in this life time.
You guys, Elaine, etc were the voices of the news during my childhood.

Julie Haener was always a class act. Never any unnecessary chit chat or anything mean spirited or nasty ever. Just a sweet woman and a pure professional. Enjoy retirement Julie, you've earned it.
I lived in the Bay Area for 25 years and always enjoyed getting news from Julie and Dennis. She is ageless! I wish her the best in her retirement. Great to see Dennis too! Aww, the memories. 😊

I will always remember Julie Haener and Dennis Richmond. They've been with us for decades and they resemble the last classic American way of life, were you stay at a company for life. Dennis started as a janitor, and worked his way up and stayed for life. We've gone a long way, we are now just a number and disposable. I hope this classic American way of life is restored. Make America Great Again.

I’m in my early 50s now and Julie Haener was one of the last remaining Bay Area news anchors from when I was a young man. I met her a few times and she was always very pleasant. She’s still too young to retire, but if she can afford it then why not? Go out and enjoy life!

But time cleansing is brutal. And with the workplace environment and values etc. constantly changing, her departure is inevitable... even though there's likely more behind the cause (at least according to Rich)......

Wow..Dennis. The MAN. I started KTVU around 1958. I was 7. I no longer watch regular television, just youtube. I enjoy fighting the fight in the comments sections for truth. Which means Don must go far away...and his lies.
