Haris do you know all the days of the week and Months are named after Roman, Greek and Norse Gods? So are the Planets. Yet all Muslims use them. The "Pagan" custom excuse is nothing but Arab Nationalism. Arab culture is not Islam.

@@alexojideagu I recently had a discussion with a brother on CZcams who used exactly the same argument ie "The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) nor the Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum) ever said 'Don't celebrate birthdays"
You have those who say "The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) never said such and such so we can do it"
Then you have those who say "The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) never did it so we won't do it"
I'm of the latter perspective. It doesn't make any logic for me as muslim who believes that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is the best of creation and the best in his Ibadah and the best in the understanding of the message and the best in his knowledge of good and the best in knowledge of bad, to then think that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would not have told us about the good in birthday celebrations etc if it was indeed good for us and it wouldn't have been established among the best generations.
And we should also consider that a Sunnah is doing what the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) did and also abstaining from what he didnt do.
But i believe Imam Malik (Rahimahullah) said it best when he said:
Whoever innovates something in the religion and claims it to be good has alleged that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) has betrayed the message.

It's not hallaj bro, it's Hussein bin Mansoor hallaj.
Here we are talking about Ibn arabi r. a, not about hussian bin mansoor..
Your logic is a failed one because if as per you Ibn arabi had same Belief as hussian bin mansoor, then you should answer as to why ibn arabi was not put to death ?? This proves your falseness..
Secondly, u should come with proof to prove that Ibn arabi had said the same as husaain bin Mansoor or had any heretic beliefs..
Unfortunately ,you are blindly following others which is a sign of ignorance. Please rectify yourself with true knowledge..
Also note that there are not clear cut proofs that husaain bin Mansoor hallaj had ever said I'm God. There are disputed versions of this story, and you as a Muslim cannot call any other Muslim as mushriq based on ambiguous stories. OK Bro. And why he was put to death is still debated. The truth is that it was a conspiracy against him by some people who were jealous of him who deliberately attributed the words ""annall haq " to him, despite the fact that he had not ..
