- I finally but the bullet and installed a header on my tracker. I have been fighting exhaust gasket problems since I had it and I’ve finally had enough. It’s time to install a header and eliminate the problem gasket forever.
I got the header from roadlessgear on eBay. It looks like they have a website as well. Roadlessgear.com not a sponsor, but a good product.
Suzuki Sidekick header install.

Nice! I’m glad you found a more permanent solution to that issue.
Sounds awesome!
I love all your videos, thank you!
Love your videos, definitely gonna help me with my future Vitara 😅
Happy to help!
crap, I didn't realize I'd need to do cutting and welding -- I was sorta banking on it just bolting on -_-
Thanks for the really quality and To The Point vid for this bro. I have two questions about my ‘94 GEO tracker 16v
1. Does it get a lot hotter in the engine bay now with this setup?
2. Was that all you did? Or cat, muffler?
3. Idk if there’s a follow up/My 3 Month Review For This Header Install so I ask how do you like it riding around town and going through all the gears? How’s it sound?
I’ll skip the other stuff and just do full new header install and gaskets because I’m ticking all over the place. Thanks
I have no regrets at all whatsoever. I’m still running a pretty big muffler, so it’s not loud, but it sounds good. At low rpm’s crawling through the rocks it has a nice little rumble. (Emphasis on little) When I get into higher rpm’s I don’t notice a lot of difference inside the cab. I do have sound deadening in the floors, so that’s probably why I can’t hear it too much.
What year is your Tracker? Does it have a 1.3 liter engine or 1.6?
90 with the 8 valve 1.6
