The coin up for discussion now is a 1971 s silver proof Ike Dollar that is a ddo or a double die obverse coin. This beautiful coin I picked up at a coin show in the month of May this year. Along with other eisenhowers that are slabbed. This coin has amazing and consistent doubling on it. I did not find out which double die it is. I think will address that in a later video. This coin could be worth a few hundred dollars or possibly a lot more. It is ungraded and it is a DCAM. It is supposed to have a PegLeg. I examined it and I do not see that. When I examined it before the purchase, I was surprised to see all the doubling. The seller assured me it was a pegleg coin. I said nothing to him about the doubling and purchased it thinking it was a pegleg with doubling on the obverse. I have never seen a raw Ike with this kind of doubling on the obverse. Later I will decide on whether to send it off for grading. Also I paid less than the sticker price because I bought all his Ike dollar coins.

that is a great example of double die with many points on the coin being effected. When we move to digital currency, and I'm sure we will, coins like those will be sought after.

Hi Stax! Thanks for watching the video. I really like this particular coin because it is a ddo, a proof coin, and it is a D-CAM. Not sure about it being a Pegleg coin. More research required for that issue.
