  • Eric uses Origin’s two new Extensions, Text Basic and Box Joint Basic, to design and customize his black oak and maple gin box. Box Joint Basic lets users input their joint parameters (pin count, stock dimension, cutter diameter) and creates cut files for both mating pieces on the fly-no computers, math, or physical templates required! #boxjoints #shapermade #shaperorigin

Beautiful. Excellent example of this new (free) box joint and lettering features. Everything the Shaper team crafts is exceptional. I bet the Shaper team brings this same level of high quality design into the Shaper Assist design service. (Wasn’t there a sketch of this project in the Shaper Assist video?). Nice work, on the software and the hardware. I look forward to using the Box Joint extension.

How are the glass brackets (the wood part) secured inside the glass compartment? Are they secured to the back, the sides or not at all?

What are the chances of this, or a modified version, of these project files hitting the Shaper Hub?
