Moving up to compete with the Senior Elites after only 6 amateur bouts, Tobi Sam Lawal - younger brother to Mikael 'Lethal' Lawal - takes on Arlo Stephens of York Boxing Club in a straight Semi Final in the 92+kg category of the Haringey Box Cup 2022
Hailing from the renowned Stonebridge Boxing Club in NW London, I was kindly afforded the opportunity to attend the club and document the run-up to the tournament by Tobi and his club mates - some of whom were unfortunately unable to compete due to injury and sheer number of entrees within their weight categories - and get their impressions on Boxing, the club and the Haringey Boxcup. This episode is therefore a deviation from the original concept and will be returning to SBC in order to produce an Amateur Focus Series feat the wealth of talent at the club.

Yes I absolutely agree with you. Tobi is now at Finchely ABC and went on to win the development final last year, only a year after his first Amateur bout.
He certainly has a bright future ahead of him whatever he decides to do in life.
