If we want to say Reishi and Ki are similar for scaling purposes, you'd think the Quincy's control over all things reishi would come into play a lot more. I would expect it to be a bit like Moro vs Goku, in that the longer the fight goes the less likely Goku would win that battle.

@@kakashihatake1029 the problem with that is both reishi and ki have ability negation when the targeted person is vastly stronger, if Yhwach tried to change a future related it'll likely just not work. Furthermore this is supposed to be a situation where they fight to kill one another why would he adjust the future to not meet Goku, even if his future changing ability could work he would probably aim to attack a goku in the future who is in base or weakened
@@amosedeaghe1368 Ability negation only works if it affects stronger one directly, which Almighty bypasses by addecting time instead of Goku. Same as when it was used on Ichigo who outscales Yhwach in stats atleast 3 times not taking acount of injuries and exhaustion which is plenty enough to be able to negate it but it didnt.
I wouldn’t count “composite yhwach” as different because the sternrieters powers all derived from yhwach. The only real different form I’d say there is would be after he absorbed the soul king

A Sternritter is created when a Quincy drinks Yhwach's blood from the royal chalice, enabling Yhwach to carve a part of his soul into that Sternritter. This carving takes on the form of a letter, which is used as the designation of the Sternritter as well as granting them their unique powers. They’re normal quinces until yhwach blesses them. Try not being a clown and try having a conversation. Or at least fact check yourself man

Yhwach doesn't share powers he himself inherently possesses, the only power he had from the beginning was granting supernatural gifts to people in exchange for absorbing their souls after they died. He further explains, that when yhwach is done absorbing a soul, he retains all the person's ; memories, knowledge and powers. Like bro, why are you fighting for something that's inaccurate? Any decent bleach fan knows this. If you haven't read all the books, just say so.

scaling dragon ball against other anime is often weird to me because dragon ball is very upfront about characters being able to blow up planets, galaxies, and universes, its a common statement. Meanwhile something like bleach is so much more focused on the body to body damage being cause, and only really in hindsight do you think "oh wait yhwach was about to just casually tear about the universe"
Bleach has universal scaling statements every so often, like Hueco Mundo being infinite, Kenpachi fighting unohana In an infinite void, hell having multiple infinite realms and so on

This might be headcanon but I'm pretty sure that Ywach uses Gremmy's technique in tandem with The Almighty to destroy Zanpacto, the same way that Gremmy used it to turn Yachiru's bones into cookies. Additionally, I think Ywach used The Miracle to revive himself as essentially an energy (mimihagi) construct the same way that Gerard did (I think this is actually why he absorbed Gerard in the first place, as he was actually pressured enough to want a fail-safe). Additionally, it is very possible that Ywach used X-axis to penetrate Aizen, given the type of wound that Aizen received (a perfectly cylindrical hole of deleted space that should have been difficult to pull off on Aizen specifically because of his seals condensing his spiritual pressure for offensive and defensive ends). Hell, even the attack Ywach performed on Aizen where he basically ate Aizen while reconstituting his body could have been an implementation of one of the Sternritter Schrifts (the gluttony).
It’s a theory which is why Comp Yhwach and normal Yhwach are usually seperated but it might be the case just not confirmed
@psychicnecrosis8376 I hope to god they make your headcanon the actual canon in the anime. I’ve had the same kind of thoughts about this for years. It never really sat right with me that Yhwach just casually takes out his two strongest remaining pieces left on the board for what seems to be no reason at all other than the obvious wrapping up of the series within 5 chapters lol. Having something as simple as Ichigo pressuring Yhwach and forcing him to do that would go a long way to fixing some of the issues with the ending.
Thats not the case considering Yhwach explicitly states that its with the Power of Almighty he got resurrected by REWRITING that FUTURE.

@@abyzz4419its even more busted than that. He can see all future timelines, as well as alternate timelines and pick from those. So when he destroyed ichigo’s bankai, he picked a future in which it was destroyed and it retroactively changed the past and present so that it was already destroyed.
In other words, the almighty allows him to see all possible futures AND change the past and the present to conform to the reality he wants to be true.
I don't know about the X Axis, cause they never actually showed Yhwach absorbing him, and I heard that he's still alive somewhere in Soul Society, in one of the Light Novels. Pretty sure he didn't even eat Aizen either, just attacked him with some of his reiatsu. And he did explicitly say that he used the Almighty to revive himself, which just makes it even better honestly. And it's also pretty obvious that Yhwach can use the Almighty, even after he dies, so idk why people use the speed blitz argument, when him dying literally doesn't matter. Hakai also wouldn't work, cause Ichibei also tried existential erasure against Yhwach and it didn't do jack cause Yhwach saw the ability in the future, and it became powerless before him. Kinda went off topic there, but I guess the only one which he could've used is the Visionary, but it doesn't really make sense with the way you described it. Yhwach can foresee and alter the future, but you kinda make it sound like he can't alter the future and he can only do it if he has the Visionary. If he needs the Visionary in order to break Ichigo's sword, then what does him altering the future do? And you also said he used the Miricale to revive himself, so you pretty much make it sound like he can't alter the future.
While I am one of the people who thinks he CAN use all of the Sternritter abilities, it was just never shown and your examples don't really add up. I really do hope they either give some kind of an explanation, or just straight up show him using the powers in the anime. The silver arrow will neg all of his abilities anyways, so why not?

It feels weird that yhwach supposedly has all the sternritter haxes but never uses them. Youd think something like the visonary used by a far more powerful and smart individual like him would be extremely useful for the situations yhwach found himself in. This kinda leads me to a couple of conclusions. 1: All the sternritter haxes have a limit to them regardless of how powerful the individual using them is and simply using the almighty is better or 2: By the time yhwach gains these abilities the reiatsu negation part of bleach was in effect, someone like ichigo just wouldnt be effected by the haxes something the almighty can bypass(to an extent). This would then apply to goku to since the gap between his power and yhwachs is so big i dont think even the almighty could save him.
Wait it out, buddy. They may fix that in the upcoming anime episodes. The Manga Writer didn't want to write bleach anymore. So he rushed the ending. Albeit, I may argue that Ywach doesn't use them and that he doesn't need the other stern ritter powers. He just wanted to get their abilities for the Power AMP. The Almighty is literally the only hack he needs, lol.

Yeah yhwach with the 27 Sternritter powers would have a few ways to beat Goku, most of the powers wouldn’t be useful though.
Abilities:
A - Uryu Ishida (The Successor)
Ability: The Antithesis - Allows him to switch anything that occurred between two objects or people. This is honestly a cheap, but effective way to beat Goku.
B - Jugram Haschwalth (The
Grandmaster of The Sternritter)
Ability: The Balance - Allows him to redirect misfortune towards an opponent or enemy while absorbing. I do not see this working on Goku, but who knows absorbing worked in the past, but ultra instinct, and the power gap seems to be a problem for that power.
C - Pernida Parnkygas (Schutzstaffel member
Ability: The Compulsory - It is able to shoot nerves that can control a person's movements and can warp individuals parts. It also has the ability to evolve. Goku’s screwed of he plays around with Yhwach using this power, the evolution would make it so he could defeat Goku easily.
D - Askin Nakk Le Vaar (Schutzstaffel member)
Ability: The Deathdealing - He can control the lethal dosage of blood in a person's body and lower it to make it fatal to them. He can also create poison to take out his opponent. The blood part would probably not work on Goku, but poisoning him with ki is definitely a great way to defeat Goku, we saw how poisonous ki affected Gohan.
E - Bambietta Basterbine
Ability: The Explode - She shoots reishi bullets that transform whatever it touches into bombs,. Honestly it’s not as useful as the other powers, but maybe Yhwach could combine it with other powers, making it broken.
F - As Nodt
Ability: The Fear - He can induce fear into his opponent using fear thorns. This one would probably not affect Goku because of the power gap, and ki barrier, along with ultra instinct dodging it.
G - Liltotto Lamperd
Ability: The Glutton - She can consume anything she chooses using her mouth. Could be useful, but I do not see Yhwach using it, unless it’s one of those fights with Goku biting the main villain.
H - Bazz-B
Ability: The Heat - He can manipulate fire.
1 - Cang Du
Ability: The Iron - He can make his skin iron which makes him invulnerable to physical damage. Basically Nova Sheron, it’s a useful power, but it would just be dodged, but if Yhwach infused it with the first captain’s bankai, it could be a very useful power.
J - Quilgie Opie
Ability: The Jail - He is able to create jails made of reshi that are inescapable to those who are non-Quincy. Yhwach could use the all mighty to trap him in it, but he could probably break out of it or just use his spirit fission, and genkai Dama training on the energy cage, honestly he might copy the powers of Yhwach.
K - BG9
Ability: Schrift remains unknown but he has the ability to extract data from an opponent which possibly means his ability is "The Knowledge". It’s useful for adapting towards an opponent.
L - PePe Waccabrada
Ability: The Love - He is able to make people fall in love with him and make them do his bidding by firing heart-shaped projectiles. It wouldn’t work, and I do not think Yhwach would use it.
M - Gerard Valkyrie (Schutzstaffel member)
Ability: The Miracle - He is able to convert physical damage into
increasing his strength and might which causes him to regenerate from physical damages while becoming stronger and larger. He could combine it with other powers, and it wouldn’t even be a fight, but Goku did deal with somebody with a similar power, but they were not immortal, but apparently the cross in the body is the weakness of that power.
N - Robert Accutrone
Ability: His schrift remains unknown although he is shown to be very fast which possibly means his schrift is "The
Nimble".
O - Driscoll Berci
Ability: The Overkill - His power increases with each kill that he has. Not useful in a 1v1.
P - Meninas McAllon
Ability: The Power - She has superhuman strength.
Q - Berenice Gabrielli
Ability: The Question - She is able to induce self-doubt into an enemy. Probably wouldn’t work Goku’s body would react towards that.
R - Jerome Guizbatt
Ability: The Roar - He is able to create sonic screams. I’m not sure how useful that would be against somebody that could scream away the universe with ease, since Buuhan almost did that.
S - Mask De Masculine
Ability: The Superstar - He becomes more powerful and mighty with each cheers that he receives. Combine that with other powers, and have him create a army to cheer him on, and he’s unstoppable.
T - Candice Catnipp
Ability: The Thunderbolt - Candice can create lighting bolts to use as attacks.
U - NaNaNa Naiahkoop
Ability: The Underbelly - NaNaNa is able to analyze his targets reiatsu over a certain amount of time which allows
him to determine an opponent's spiritual power distribution. He then implints his letter into the target and it forms grid patterns and he pinpoints hoeles which causes them to increase until the opponent's reiatsu deplets which knocks them out. Seems very effective, definitely a power to use.
V - Gremmy Thoumeaux
Ability: The Visionary - He is able to imagine anything which will become reality. Basically Janemba, but with extra perks.
W - Nianzol Weizol
Ability: The Wind - He is able to deflect anything that approaches him. Useful.
X - Lille Barro (Schutzstaffel Leader)
Ability: The X-Axis - He can pierce anything he shoots with perfect accuracy and he is able to be intangible. Sounds like Granola, but without the ability to see vital points, but he is made out of light.
Y - Loyd Llovd
Ability: The Yourself - He is able to copy a target's powers and abilities. Combined with all of the other powers, it’s child’s play for Yhwach to win really.
Y - Royd Lloyd
Ability: The Yourself - He is able to copy a targets appearance and memories. Memories are very useful, mainly with all of his other powers.
Z - Giselle Gewelle
Ability: The Zombie - She can control anyone with her blood once it touches their skin.

I understand the statement where abilities can be bypassed with someone or something being stronger, but it kind of just doesn't add up for the Bleach verse. Tsukishima was able to affect Ichigo with his ability and it's quite obvious Tsukishima is almost nothing when in comparison to his power within TYBW. Then there was also the plan where Orihime was meant to reject the existence of the Hogyoku, but she failed in doing so. When Aizen had explained, he said nothing of the Hogyoku being unaffected by Orihime due to there being a difference between their power. And then we have Aizen who was able to put Yhwach in an illusion, who was for sure on an entirely different level than Aizen after absorbing the Soul King. It may not be such a thing to push into the topic when you add universal scaling, but I just wanted to get my thoughts in

That’s Bleach not Ki. Negating people’s abilities if they are weaker than you is apart of the DB power system so you can’t just ignore it to suite your narrative. Orihime was never shown trying to erase the Hogyoku, so you can't say that she failed. It seems like she never even got the chance to attempt it, but it probably wouldn't have worked, and idk how that's a part of your argument, as if Orihime is stronger than the Hogyoku. And doesn't the fact that Aizen was able to put Yhwach in an illusion just prove that he IS on his level?

I just wanna say that Jiren is no way near beerus’ level, in the dbs manga it has been stated that jiren is only stronger than his own god of destruction and not all of them, furthermore in the manga we can see beerus literally playing with ssbe vegeta like it’s nothing which means beerus was holding back by a lot during their fight with Goku during the battle of gods

@@asoretwell beerus has been shown to use it at least to some effect in the manga, but as pointed out by whis it’s not perfect. Which makes sense seeing how the mind set you need to tap in to ui vs ue or just g.o.d power in general are pretty different. But it does seem that ue is at least somewhat on par with ui in terms of power (at least in the hands of a mortal), so while it’s true that an angel is stronger then a god of destruction it wouldn’t surprise if it wasn’t by too much.

Goku's base form gets massively stronger throughout super after the universe 6 tournament he gets at least 10 times stronger since he needed ssbkkx10 to contend with hit during the tournament to only needing ssb afterwards, goku would also gets possibly 1000s of times stronger than what he was at the end of the uni 6 tourney in the goku black arc since he was able to hold his own against merged zamasu with ssbkkx10 even though both him and vegeta were getting beaten by ssr goku black with relatively low effort, then after zamasu turns to infinite zamasu goku is somewhat confident that he would be able to stop him if only he had a senzu bean which I assume infinite zamasu is stronger than the corrupt zamasu that gave ssb vegito some trouble (at least in the anime), then after going ui for the first time he gets 500 - 1000 (depending on if he was ssj or ssj2) times stronger than what he was at the start of the TOP because he went from being manhandled in ssb by a raging out ssj kale to being able to fight an even stronger ssj kale while also fighting caulifla at the same time while being heavily drained, then it wouldnt be too huge of a stretch to apply that same or a bit lower of a multiplier after he goes ui for a second time

For instance, Frieza is weaker than the gods of destruction in TOP, but could resist the same destruction energy that erased Zamasu. Acknowledging that Beerus performed the latter feat against a character beaten by base Goku, who was far weaker than Frieza in his True Golden form, and the fact that Beerus is multiple times stronger than the god of destruction in question, it makes sense. Characters like Roshi were able to use hax abilities against other more-powerful characters who were less familiar with ki, while being completely powerless against the likes of Vegeta, Toppo, Frieza, Jiren, or Goku.
@@Shin-71 Yeah, I can understand that. But to be fair, Goku's stupidity in Super was not a new development. He made similar mistakes in both the original DB and DBZ. The insane jump is kind of weird, but outside of Android 17, who was straight up broken in the ToP, the other humans were still solidly in the lower tier powers. In the manga, Roshi avoids Jiren through being waaaayyyyyy more experienced of a fighter, despite his weakness. Krillin, Tien, and Android 18 have similar showings. Against the higher tier enemies like Jiren, Toppo, Dyspo, and Anhilaza, they are visibly out of their league. Even Piccolo and Gohan have to bow out by that point too, and Piccolo was always training, having demolished Frost in the U6 tournament, and performing well in the Goku Black Arc. It may be an unpopular opinion, but I think the humans were handled extremely well in the ToP.
I've always said just having ki gives you abilities negations if you are stronger than them if you are not then you can't cuz I've always heard that just because they have an ability they cant overpower it because they're not the same power system but in my opinion ki has the ability to just negate stuff if you are stronger
When it comes down to it, ki can effectively do anything. Flight, telekinesis, energy blasts, sensing, teleportation, energy draining, elemental control and creation, temporal manipulation, reality shattering, potential unlocking, healing, resurrection, power boosting, gigantification, miniaturization, self-automaticity, total annihilation, body hardening, and the list really does go on. Beerus could even just nullify energy completely. When a singular power has this many applications, it is fairly easy to see why it may be considered superior to other abilities. When compared to Chakra, Magic, Reiki, Quirks, etc., Ki truly is in another league.
Reishi actually works in a similar way. Aizen explains when he fights the Gotei 13 that when a shinigami uses their ability it's fueled by reishii and since his reishi massively overwhelms them their abilities are void on him. this was the reason why soifon couldn't kill him after two stings and why shinji's shikai was ineffective. Although it does seem ki is better at doing this as it starts its negation in the 50 to 75% range while i'm unsure about reishi

As for Ki affecting souls, it can, but only at the highest level. It works in other world because the other world fighters were given their physical bodies back to fight and train. They’re similar to Bleach’s ‘physical’ souls. We’ve seen that people like Dabura who’s a demon king and resides in a plane of existence outside the living universe or strong individuals like Buu Saga Vegeta can’t do anything without their bodies. But when Goku or Vegeta get their physical bodies back despite being dead, they still physically interact with everything similar to Bleach. But unlike Bleach we’ve seen in Dragon Ball Super that the intangible souls of even fodder (power wise) like the Dr Slump ghost was unable to be interacted with by DBS Goku and Vegeta iirc (I don’t remember the episode that well), but was *only* able to be dealt with by Hakai which sort of breaks the rules of normal ki interactions as destruction energy is special
As for Bleach characters physically being touched and what not in the living world…yes, it’s been stated that strong soul beings have dense reishi particle that are dense enough to physically interact with the living world. However, it’s been said later on when Ichigo was training with Urahara that despite being able to physically be touched, souls can’t be damaged or harmed by physical attacks, only soul based attacks and weapons.
This extends to the mind as well, as Bleach is unique in the fact that spiritual energy and the soul affects the mind and memories as well as shown in memories of nobody and recently in the anime with the Soul King’s spiritual energy quite literally implanting his memories into Ichigo and such
People like Aizen could come back from existence erase from Ichigo’s Mugetsu. We’ve seen Transcendent Aizen’s passive Reiatsu is existence erasure for weaker beings that can’t perceive his power, and Aizen specifically stated that he couldn’t perceive Final Getsuga Ichigo’s power to the point where he wondered if he was in a higher plane of existence, and Ichigo condensed all that power into a single attack. Which also has the properties of Quincy that erase souls from existence layered on top of Ichigo’s transcendent reiatsu being existence erasure. As for affecting time, weaker beings like 3rd Fusion Aizen was able to destroy the Cleaner, which is immune to spiritual energy and governs space and time (as stated by the databooks). With the Dangai being a hyperspace as stated in certain translations of the manga and in the canon novels. So something that governs space and time in the context of a higher dimension. As well as being the embodiment of the concept of logic and reason…whatever that means for hax potency. And again, Ichigo’s power surpassed that and Aizen still was able to come back
So I don’t see Hakai being able to kill Yhwach. It’s AP is higher than his durability and it will destroy his body and soul, but his regeneration and post death revival scales above Hakai in terms of hax potency
Destruction energy affects and can existence erase the physical body and soul across time which is a higher level than regular ki
Reiatsu can affect the physical body, souls directly and the mind, and Transcendent Reiatsu does that + existence erasure on things that are completely immune to regular Reiatsu, governs space and time within a hyperspace, and is pure logic and reason
So in terms of AP, Hakai is most likely stronger considering how Goku scales compared to Yhwach (if we give Anime Goku’s stronger than Beerus scaling with Manga Goku’s ability to use Hakai that is, since if we use pure manga than manga Goku is alot weaker than anime Goku scaling wise), but AP doesn’t matter as Yhwach can come back after he dies, and his resurrection/regeneration should be far above the hax potency of Hakai even if the attack potency shreds him

Ichigo didn't register as a threat, because if it wasn't for the unique circumstances of Aizen having used Kyoga Suigetsu before Yhwach activated his Almighty to implant false visions, Uryu suspending his abilities with Stillsilver, and Ichigo subsequently overpowering him...there was no threat. He could literally unmake his own death retroactively.

Yhwach changes his reality with the Almighty, it has nothing to do with power level or ki of the opponent.
He changes what he experiences and he can see in the future and the past at the same time.
The only way to beat this ability is by having it too or changing the perception of the reality of the wielder (as demonstrated by Aizen and Haschwalth in the Manga) to manipulate how the wielder uses the ability in the hopes of killing him before he realizes what happened.

Yhwach is just the kind of character who is no fun to talk about because theres no middle ground. If you don't impose any limits on his ability then he is impossible to beat because he can literally revive himself. And unlike other characters with revival powers it doesn't even matter if he gets blitzed. On the other hand though if you impose limits on his power then it is equally boring since he will just lose to every character stronger than him he might as well be a guy with only raw power.
Furthermore we don't know the limits of the almighty but its untrue that he can only manifest futures that hes capable of making himself. Ichigo is so much stronger than yhwach that he one shot him twice. In normal circumstances there is no future in which yhwach breaks ichigo's bankai or horn. Yet with the almighty he did both instantly. So its just a massive question mark that can never be answered. If he has no limit to what future he can manifest he can just make the future be that goku dies even though he never did this in bleach when he should've. Same for gremmy i guess but gremmy is proven to have limits shown by him needing to make more bodies to achieve certain feats
Gojo is the biggest example of this because even though yhwach makes him look completely fair and balanced gojo is much more popular and well known and also gojo needs like 20 abilities to get that strong and tons of BS explanations of how nothing works on him while yhwach only needs one.
Anyway imo these characters are badly designed for these discussions and for battles inside their own series too. Tbf tho it isn't like goku is much better. With him it just comes down to a stronger character than him will beat him and a weaker one will lose. The only discussion is which of goku's feats count as feats and which ones don't.
In terms of pure stats it actually is close if you count gremmy's galaxy room and the soul king holding together the dimensions/creating them in the first place as usable feats.
One thing people arguing about the size of dimensions in bleach pass over without seeing is that muken underneath soul society was said to be infinitely large by unohana. So even if the world of the living isn't our universe (which i don't see why it wouldn't be) soul society is confirmed to stretch on for infinity. So thats at least one universe at a minimum. If we assuming all realms are comparable in size thats 3 or more universes and the kicker is the garganta surrounding them was also said to go up in smoke if the soul king dies by ganju or something i can't remember. That garganta is basically the hyperuniverse that dragonball has. An endless void around infinitely large universes.
However it should be noted yhwach couldn't handle the totality of the soul king's power anyway so he doesn't scale. The new anime showed ichigo was able to handle the soul king's power though which makes sense because he is shown to be way stronger than yhwach, hax not factored in.
But i'm not stuck into this VS stuff enough to know whether either of those things count or not. These discussions always devolve into favoritism anyhow. I feel like the soul king physically separating the primordial realm into the rest (which is essentially creating them) is much more solid than saying hes that strong because his life is holding them together. That leaves a bit of room for doubt.
Personally i think the multiverse stuff in bleach and the super multiverse stuff in dragonball is all kinda bullshit because in most of the fights the scale of every attack is nowhere near that level.

The Gods of destruction also have a range of strength. Beerus may be the strongest. And saying Jiren is stronger than A god of destruction, doesn't mean every god of destruction. Plus Beerus base being at the level, knowing Beerus has Ultra Instinct, means he could tap into that if he ever felt it was a close fight and then wouldn't be touched at that time.
