"we dont buy it, we request it" is a reference to the fact that all of them are Global Ambassadors for their respective brands. The dog is actually Lisa's real dog called Love. There is lots of references to their old songs including their individual songs. Eg Lisa's top with Lalisa around the band. It is a big dig at the haters essentially saying you can hate but look at us. We will come back stronger than before. I noted in all the car scenes they were wearing their seatbelts this time (Rosė got hassled big time last time she was in a car in the "Kill This Love" MV as did not have seatbelt on). I feel this song is in a lot of ways also saying bye to the old Blackpink and here is the new Blackpink.... Yes the whole album has dropped now too.
Lots of shots at the older hits like Play with Fire, Whistle, ddu du and so on with redos of the images.
@@LordGrokken yeah it opened with Lisa on jetty that was in play with fire. But all through it there was references all over the place. I am sure I missed much more than I saw but will keep rewatching it am bound to pick up more references.
They've been criticized for "wasting money" on designer items, but in reality they never spent a cent on those because they were given for free.
@@iagreewithyou3478 Agree, but, at the end of the day what they decide to spend their money on is their affair. I guess when people are jealous they tend to say nasty things. I guess some people may not realise that when you are a global ambassador for a big name brand you do not buy anything from that brand you get given it and if a global ambassador as they all are for their respective brands then you get to see items before they are even released for general public and can wear those items.
Eg Jisoo is global ambassador for Dior, Jennie is Chanel, Rosė is YSL and Lisa is Celine, but they are all ambassadors for lots of other brands as well Plus Blackpink as a group also has endorsements eg Kia for example.

Yes, they dropped a whole album, and they didn't pay homage to others, they paid homage to themselves! There were so many references that BLINKS caught onto, to their past outfits/scenes in the MVs etc. They don't need to pay homage to others, they're freakin' BP, the most followed musical act on ALL of youtube.
The visual of this MV has a lot of elements from their previous songs in case you haven't caught that, but modified or changed. Kinda cool to see.
Honestly a little bit surprised by the violin, it feels like classical song but mixed with modern which is something I like a lot. For me I like this more than pink venom. I can't decide which one I like the most from the album tho XD
It is a classical tune. called "La Campanella" but you are right it is old mixed with a modern twist, but, it works :)

Male artists flex all the time and don’t get hate for it, but woman are expected to be humble at all times or they get hated for being “full of themselves” 🙄 Personally I love seeing woman flexing on their success.
