Where can I get this tools? And which broker do you use?
at 7:37 we can see there's still 400 contracts on the bids at 37.25 ... I'd like to understand your thought process as you saw this. Was there spoofing going on? The video cut off and we didn't whether these contracts got filled or not.
When you arent scalping, how long do you hold trades? Seems like this footprint and dom is better for quick trades

Is the business of daytrading based in truthful market activity, actually satisfying needs within the market, or is it exploitative and grounded in falsehood such that it could fall apart if certain manipulated factors were not in place? I understand my question is ambiguous, so you have room to interpret as you will.

Thanks, I do not trade GC but many I know do. So yes it's possible but is very volatile so not for the feint hearted.

let me see if I'm following you correctly NV - long time listener first time commenter:
you observed a big rise, saw the stock go sideways, test highs twice, narrowed in on the buyers/sellers, and correctly estimated from that buyer/seller data, that it was having a hard time getting above that 4740 level (where all the sellers were staying at), and shorted. from there you were patient until the drop and sold off for profit - am I on the right track here?
great videos, new insights for me since I learned Technical Analysis and have done well so far with it; all information is gold and it's great to watch your thought processes!

hey, i have a question regarding of the footprint when i see the current price movement candle the bid and ask transaction is moving on 1 level but i saw yours when the candle moves there are more active transaction in different levels within the candle why is that ? thank you at advanced .

Great video NV. I don't really look at the DOM that much anymore, but sometimes I find my self missing the information that it provides as I find that some of my trading style involves scalping from time to time. I will have to add it back into my charts to do some trades on the sim to practice before I add it in live. Thanks for the continued education sir!
I prefer CD tbh but DOM is simply more appealing to the audience so stick with what you are doing:)

What is the visual representation named in this type of institutional trading? Is it available on thinkorswim?
The visual set up is the DOM on the right, Orderflow in the middle, Time and Sales on the lower left and candle chart on the upper left. He's using the Sierra charts platform.

What type of DOM is that? The only one I’ve ever seen is the normal one with Buying on the top and Selling on the Bottom.

why do you use the phrase "there ae lots of buyers and no sellers" or visa versa. It a stock trades at 4 it means someone bought it at 4 and another person sold it at 4. Buyers always equal sellers. So what do you say "there are no sellers"

Orderflow is better for intraday swing trading by it's very nature. However if you have a longer term view and are looking for some fine tuning of entries it is a great way to assist.

Neerav, brother can we use your trading skill and whatever you r showing in Indian stock market. Specifically banknifty. It is highly volatile.
Any market as long as it has observable orderflow. To be honest why anyone would ever want to trade a market that has no observable order flow is beyond me. It is just gambling.
