- I've been meaning to film this for a while because Joe cracks me up so much when I clean his cage.

Thanks for uploading, Valerie!! I love your piggies, and Joe is a DOLL!! I love skinny pigs, most I've seen are more tame then regular piggy breeds, except teddy piggies, they tend to have very gentle dispositions. He's so funny, piggies are great pick me uppers, they're inquisitive and usually so happy!❤😊
Aww I am glad you enjoyed! Most of my skinnies have been pretty social although I do have a female skinny who has always been nervous, hates being held and that has never changed. Teddys are pretty gentle too like you said, my Teddy Faery was one of the most tame pigs I've ever had!

I used to have a housecleaner and I jumped around just like Joe but waited til the cleaner left so they wouldn’t lock me up for acting crazy 😅

Skinny pigs are not my favorite, but he is SO cute!
So cute. He is thinking yes finaly it is party and playtime😅 actually bc he is alone. But He seems to be healthy young boy. When I read your Posting I m so thankful that I live in a Part of the World where the Shelters are not euthanized healthy Animals . No matter how full they are. Bc it is a Animal protection Law here
Well he will have a friend eventually. Because he came from such a bad situation I have chosen to give him these few months to just relax and get healthy. He is ready to find a friend now though and I am looking for a spayed female as I think that would make him really happy.

its just a bissel, I've had a shop vac before but it was too strong and kept sucking up the fleece. This one works well as long as I have the brush attachment on the hose.
What are the coverings called you have over the fleece liners? He is so adorable!!
So those are microfiber rugs that we got from ikea. They're pretty inexpensive. I usually use smaller ones just under the houses or in the hay areas but I have a lot of these ikea ones and since they fit the midwest perfectly I've been using them this summer in my DIY shelving unit cage.
Does your vacuum get insanely plugged sucking up hay like that? We have to rake before we can vacuum. 😅
I do scoop out a lot of hay by habd before I start vacuuming. Otherwise it would get clooged, especially if I am using timothy hay.
