Me, too. I’ve collected coins since I was a kid thanks to my beloved uncle. I have to start going through that old coin collection!! Your channel is the best!
$2 bills are NOT disappearing and it’s extremely common to find sequential order 2’s. I’m a bank teller and we have a guy that orders 2k-6k worth of $2 bills a month and 75% of the time they are BRAND NEW NEVER BEFORE TOUCHED $2 Bills all in sequential order. The feds don’t keep $2 bills on hand so when they’re ordered, they have to print them for him. Just go to the bank, ask to order them, and boom… 3/4ths of the time you’re gonna get brand new sequential 2s.
Ok so you’re a bank teller who deals with a guy that buys them. A guy, doesn’t mean their common at all in regular circulation and anybody buying them is definitely not putting them into circulation
@@marcusmoore5191 I deal with hundreds of people every day. I also go to over 20 branches throughout my times in my position. I’ve also been to numerous of states as well. I promise I’m not basing my opinion off of a bias transaction of one person.
I’ve got $600 in uncirculated sequential $2’s. Got them this last Xmas at my local bank. I usually use them for tips around the holidays but keeping these ones for sure.
I always spend my $2 bills. With inflation going around things that used to cost $1 now cost $2. They also make very good tips when dining in at low scale restaurants.
The beginning clip talked about a ppl stashing $2 bills thinking they valuable. Well regular ones are not and you can spend them. But definitely check for the 5 in the video
Yup, I see where you went on there about that but didn’t quite finish. Most people THINK they’re ‘rare’ but no, they still make them fresh. Although there are specific rare ones obviously
I had a $2 that had red letters and silver certificate, but I was in middle school and the office lady promised me I could get it back the next day, and it was gone, imagine that
Man thank you, I been watching you for maybe 2 years now and been just going and checking my bank periodically and collecting. I got some uncirculated in sequential, I wasn't for sure but kept them. Good looking out.
My grandfather was a coin collector and left me with a stick of $2 bills...will definitely be going through them after seeing this...thanks a ton for this!
I have had 3 BEP strap 2 dollar bills on eBay for 2 weeks, uncirculated, sequential for only 689 plus shipping, no bidding at all. What's up with that.
There's one $2 bill I keep with my other Banknotes from different countries. It's not valuable for any reason other than face value, but it's not folded, torn, crumpled, etc, so I keep it for that one reason. 🤷🏻♀️
Years ago, 30+, my husband worked at a plant that was privately owned and every Friday he would give all his employees a $2 bill. It was just something extra he did.
I know a lot of people ask for videos, but could you make a video or something just detailing which years each coin/bill (not all but like pennies, nickels, dollars, ect.) is most likely to have a valuable error? That would help a lot, Thanks!
I live near a museum that buys 2 dollar bills for 5 bucks no questions and they aren't looking for anything special any 2 dollar bills I get even the most common ones worth face value give me 3 dollars profit and I can just keep the rare ones to sell elsewhere
Matching serials are easy. I put a request in the bank every year for a band with last four serials 1700-2100. That way I can give specific ones away for historic years to my Navy buddies.
So doesn't the low serial number means that it's among the first of the batch? Example: If you find a Grandfather clock and you look in the back and on the tag or plate it will have lot #2 of 100. The #2 is worth a ton of money especially of its one that a collector doesn't have.
Get a 100 bundle, glue the tops, go pay for stuff by peeling them off, and if you are lucky/unlucky, some dimwits will call the cops on you for counterfeiting. 1st off, secret service, yes the same one that protects the president, is in charge of counterfeiting, and 2ndly, there are some cops who dont know that $2 bills are real. Might get yourself a payout for their stupidity!
What about the $2 bills with red stars instead of green? I think I had 2 of them at one time but one day decided even if they were worth something I wouldn't know how to go about selling them.
Im a cashier for a local place I find starnotes very often but when I look them up they are not ever rare and sometimes in bad condition would you still keep them?
I have a set of 2 dollar bills, 200 hundred dollars total, of uncirculated sequential star notes. I knew to keep them but what are they worth? How would I sell them online?

Haha that’s a good thing though. I think everyone should know what look for on their own bills and coins!
@@thecoinchanneltube we gave
I have 100 tickets of 2 with consecutive series and without circulation
I have a $20 dollar bill, with 7's and 4's with 1 zero.

Where do people often go to sell these at?
I sent you an email a few days ago with a $2 bill my buddy has something with the border looks off not sure if you received it

The bank still has them , just ask.
I use them for fun.
I try to spend $2 bills if I can get a significant quantity. The exotic dancers like me for it.

You know its illegal to destroy or burn money but it’s legal to sell it at a high price what a world we live in
I just keep one if I find it for sentimental reasons. I do the same for Bicentennial coins.
Nice! You got people commenting on something that is completely untrue. Props 💯
Because of your channel I've started using cash again and I check every piece of currency. I'm going to find me a misprint some day lol.

Meanwhile I'm sitting on blue seals...
what website can I go to to sell my rare currency

Ah, two dollar bills have charm

Just aquired some 4 $2 from 2017 bills in order. Thanks for showing I am on the right track now I just need to price them 🤔
They’re always valuable. Worth at least 2! Sorry, I couldn’t help myself 😄 lol
This year they are supposed to be redesigning the two-dollar bill.
2024 should be a new design
Already happened in Canada then the one. Next it’s money in general
Oh great video

Will do!

As a wedding gift, my aunt decorated me a (Styrofoam) cake entirety with rolled up $2 bills. Very fun way to receive some cash!
My brother in law goes to the bank and gets stocks of them and everywhere he goes he gives them as a tips
I have over $100 worth of 2 dollar bills in sequential order, and there ALL RED NOTES.
Single mom cashier in retail. Goal for 2024 pay more attention 😅❤❤❤ tysm
I do a survey online that pays me a $2 bill. So far I’m up to 15 bills. I need to check mine soon.
Original video is dead wrong. They are still in circulation and still minted every several years. The hoarding of $2 bills pisses me off.
No way.....i didn't know about the see through print......ide seen one like a week ago

Hi, I'm new to your channel. I want you to make a video about the red 2 dollar bills
My serial numbers match, what am I supposed to do?
I never knew u can buy money with money
I have 1 with a red seal and serial (I hope I spelled that correct) numbers. Is it worth anything?
Used to give ‘em for payout at track way back when👍
Any chance of a Aussie currency vid? Cheers
I just realized the $2 bill I got from my grandpa has a star, not selling it obviously because it’s special to me
Could you make a video on how to tell the value in bicentennial drummer boy quarters. I have over 50 of them and don’t know how to value them
he needs to do a video of a dollar bill (any dollar bill) and say it is going to be worthless and then explain. and then show a picture of O'Biden.
I’ve got a couple silver certificate 2 dollar bills floating around right now. Picked em up at a cashier job I had 12 years ago now.
my wife gave away one out of a band of sequential uncirc 2s I had from my late father. still pissed about that.
I have 13 sequential 2 dollar bills uncirculated. I tried to sell them on ebay to no avail
Can you make a video on the one cent 1982 large date but with mint mark?
My parents always kept $2 bills because they said they were lucky not because they were valuable

I went to my bank and requested $40 dollars of 2 dollar bills. No stars, but they are all sequential ! I saved them.

I don’t keep them because I think they’re valuable I keep them because I think they’re beautiful
What about the commemorative sequential star sheets?
What would a one dollar bill with the serial 11234005 go for?
We should use $2 more and we should also have a $25 bill! Yes I'm serious...

What about a sequential band of uncirculated brand new ones?
I HAVE 2 1953 RED STAR NOTES

I actually have 2 bills with sequential serial numbers.
I have a $2 with a red seal instead of green.

Where do you go to check the serial number?
I have 15 sequential star note $2 bills. And a 5 sequential star note $2 bills. I refuse to sell them unless I can make a big profit
Yeah they are valuable, they’re worth $2.

No mention of SIlver Certificates or red stamp bills.
Do some Canadian coins please !
How many sequencials are needed to make a good sell? I have 8 in sequence and 2 w/ different sequence #'s.
Can u do one on south African cent(penny)

That is a US Note. Worth a little bit if its nothing special or specific.
