Thank you both so much for showing us the new restaurant! It is so beautiful. Sifat, I can't believe you are finally eating while we watch LOL. I would love to go there one day. I am not familiar with the foods, but I would find something to love there, I am sure. That shrimp dish looks amazing, I would love that. The restaurant surely knew who to invite for a positive review for them. I want some of their food right now so much. Thanks again

Prices likely higher due to rent in Times Square. At 25,000 sq ft, they are likely paying premium rates, which ran $400/sq ft in 2019 in that neighborhood. (Unless they bought the building.)
Regardless, this is their largest location to date. With capacity for 450 diners, it seems it's picking up where Ruby Foo's left off in 2015 (It had capacity for 300 - opened in 2000, but abruptly closed 9-years ago. Their actual space was taken over by a new branch of Junior's.).

@@veritadea Food critics wouldn't say something is "perfectly cooked" just based on visual inspection. Need to taste it & see if it's truly tender or chewy & over-cooked. Similarly, they wouldn't claim something is delicious before tasting it. I'll let saying "feel" in place of "taste" slide, as English is likely not his native language. Also some critics may comment about texture & mouthfeel, though I do believe flavor/taste was what was intended. Also should note that the Hong Kong branch at Tsim Sha Tsui, Silvercord Branch has received 1 Michelin star 5-times, though currently just Bib Gourmand. The Taipei location on Xinyi Rd has also received Bib Gourmand status.
Still I appreciate the review - video certainly captured the setting & ambience, which are markedly different from Din Tai Fung in the Gateway Food Court in Sydney, Australia (there are several locations in that city - this one closed at some point) & in Westfield Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara, California, USA.
