When a company says "we're a family" it makes me think of when my parents used to give me $20 a month for allowance.
Which was great when I was 10, but I'm applying with multiple degrees, and inflation alone is over 80% since then, stop pretending I'm still 10.
"why are you unemployed during the time you dont have a job?" well if i had a job i wouldnt be unemployed now would i
Ah yes AI...
The downfall of humanity.
THE SUBREDDIT NAMES ARE BACK IN THE TITLES!!!
$11 would be an upgrade.
Got 7.25 an hour for foundry work. Heat stroke is no joke when you have a trough of molten metal that could spring a leak at any moment and enough grease to lubricate texas clean off the map clinging to everything. I do miss winter the most, one good drop of water or snow and youll have the best ironman cosplay in town permanently.
Listening to this at work, where I make $9.90/hr without benefits and it’s 76 degrees Fahrenheit indoors.
A few months ago i applied to work at a business i had worked at previously. ONE MONTH LATER I get a reply asking me to tell them when i can come in for an interview so i tell them im available the next day. i never got a response so i called the business and they said "oh our recruiter had a family emergency, theyll get back to you asap". the very next day i got a message from them saying "sorry we dont have any positions open at this time so your application has been declined, would you like us to message you should a position open up again?"
This is the wildest narrator I've ever seen, I like it
Anyone know how to get a job in this market I've been unemployed since December WALMART won't hire me
Amazon will hire anyone in the summer and winter peaks. Pretty much all stores need back stock people to move shelves around, so freight team. Labor always hires
I'm in the same boat, sort of. I got dismissed from Walmart months ago and have been unsuccessful at landing a new job. But for a couple of months, I couldn't even try to get a job due to my health, but I'm pretty much recovered now and just started searching for a job again. Weird thing is the first job I applied to - Subway restaurant. I had got accepted for an interview, but right during the interview time, there was a big storm, and the company recommended rescheduling the interview. But then they never did even after I called them back and was told the managers would call. So I never had the interview at all.😶
I guess accountants are not allowed to have pets.
this subreddit is just a treasure trove of material for EEO complaints
14:14 Also: Pretty sure some people have black as part or even all of their last name? Imagine.
And this is why I don't have a job😎
The only thing worse than dating in 2020's is the job market in the 2020's, where in both all you can hope for is to get screwed in the least dangerous and disgusting way while also still being able to live with yourself
23:34 G for Glen...which is just an open grassy area/long valley

As a Christian, if I had a job, let’s say at a camp or something aviable and it was a Christian camp, I agree with the statement of faith thing. It’s protection you don’t want someone who doesn’t believe coming in and teaching the kids there things that simply are not true.
