I missed these under the old title. It gave me a little time to think about the things on the threads. Not everything has to be funny, even for someone like me who often communicates in memes and gifs 😅
For the third post about not wanting to accept them to get you something-
It’s okay to not want something when they ask, from experience, she likely just wants an explanation. Some people show love and affection by buying things, giving gifts, and doing favors. She might see it as you putting down her attempt to show you her care for you. Just tell her you’d feel guilty if she bought you something and are trying to stay away from Starbucks, but if you bought your own drink at the other cafe, you’d be more than happy to tag along!
It can come across as not wanting to spend time with someone if you don’t offer up an alternative. And asking someone daily if you can get them anything, one person specifically, is them trying to subtly ask to spend time with you

Sometimes you get both survival and love. One can be very loved and have as stable a upbringing as possible (loving parents, stable household without fighting, violence, etc.) but due to external or added issues, learn the tools to survive -- mental discipline, resilience, etc.
As an introvert I’m relate with 90% of this.

Yeah... I just can't in person.
I had a tough upbringing, full of arguments over things as small as breathing too loudly so yeah I have 0 interest in trying to tiptoe through verbal situations anymore. I'll still reply if needed, but I'm not starting a conversation if I don't have to, I'm not drawing it out if there's a simple way of putting it, I'm not going to show at your parties, I'm not going to try to follow flowery doublespeak, I'm not sugarcoat shit either. I will however cuss like a sailor, call out bs when I hear it, and be brutally blunt. If you get offended that's a you problem, keep it that way.

I actually found listening to this very helpful, actually contrary to what the majority seems to be saying. The snobby comments here are probably just feeling insecure because all of their toxicity and junk got called out in a matter of 30 minutes.
