  • In this video, I am building some makeshift acoustic sound treatment panels using thrift store picture frames and moving blankets.
The construction of moving blankets from what I have read works well at absorbing echos. The extra thickness and the stitching help with reverb control,
While it will never be as good as expensive soundproofing panels. It is very cost-effective and will work for my current needs.
    The Tools Used:
    Milwaukee Jobsite Scissors: amzn.to/3KaEDcP
Stanley Heavy Duty Staple Gun: amzn.to/3LS7T9t
3M Claw Drywall Picture Hangers: amzn.to/3K8dbfv

Thick moving blankets are great for acoustic treatment. Layering double or triple the blankets with an aesthetically pleasing cover is a win-win.

Those look amazing. I’d love if,you’d,post a sound demo. Before/after or mounted/uncounted. Just for sound reference and expectation management. Thanks !

Thanks, NaFaWi! I will put a demo video on the list. The difference is noticeable in person. It's definitely not pro-level acoustic treatment, but it's something. The cost is proportional to the results.

It does. There are ways to make better acoustic panels, but for what they are worth, they work well
