Mumford And Sons are a Folk / Bluegrass group formed in London in September of 2007. Having received critical acclaim from the Guardian on their Band of the Day online forum and resounding praise from nearly everyone who has witnessed them supporting the infinitely talented Laura Marling, Mumford And Sons continue to turn heads in Londons growing folk scene.
Their debut EP, Lend me your Eyes features 4 stunning tracks written in the short space of 3 months. Including lead single Roll Away Your Stone which was Radio 2s single of the week 15th - 22nd July, 2008.
The line up consists of Marcus Mumford [Drums, Guitar, Singing] - Country Winston [Banjo, Slide Guitar, Vocals] - Ted Dwayne - Ben Lovett [Keys, Vocals].

Watching this on the day Delta came out and how far they’ve come as a band is huge
The thing i love most about Mumford is how true to themselves they have stayed- in this video they are four humble blokes playing music, not taking themselves too seriously or trying to please anybody, and now, with the success of Sigh no More under their belts & Babel very close on the horizon, they are still those four humble guys doing exactly the same thing :-)

I love this... a band of actual musicians.. that write their own songs. Not being facetious but when I come across a band that does all those things that a band are meant to do.. I love it. When did musicianship for pop bands become about being "beautiful"? The beauty is in the music
just got back from Dixon, Illinois and their Gentlemen of the Road stopover. I have played this clip hundreds of times for the past 2 years and never get tired of it. they always remind me of the very early beatles here. And I just had to watch it again "to see how far they've come" (Dawes). They've come far but they seem to be true to their values and dedicated to music, not arrogant or obnoxious rock stars! Thank you Balcony TV for keeping this out here!

I love how they can stand on a balcony and perform acoustic, having not even been together that long at the time this was filmed, and still sound absolutely amazing. Love them so much.

I always see Marcus as being a lot older than he is, I think it's because I bought and fell in love with the album, before I saw what the band looked like properly. Over a year later, and I'm still constantly amazed with them!

To be honest, I wouldn't think that the lead singer would be the shyest one of the bunch. He shows so much emotion when he sings, and he's always playing multiple instruments at once.

SOO CUTE! At the end Marcus tries to avoid making eye contact with the camera or anyone else for that matter. Winnie on the other hand looks straight into it and says "Bye" like right now im grinning like an idiot :D
