SIGNALIS - MNHR (Mynah) First Boss Fight (Survival Difficulty)

This boss is actually pretty easy if you have thermite. Their main attack is a giant laser beam that deals a ton of damage. Luckily there is a conveniently placed pillar in the room that you can stand behind (you can also strafe the laser beam if you're quick enough). MNHR can only be damaged when they fall to their knees, but make sure to watch out for the black tendrils that expand from the boss, as they will damage you.
The only challenge comes with managing the two normal enemies that MNHR will spawn in the room. Kill them quickly and use your thermite to make sure they stay dead.

I swear last year when I played this I easily beat this boss by touching it with thermite after her visor opens. But I've been trying to do it now and I can't.
