- In my second visit to California I got the chance again to see and fly the wonderfull Bell UH-1 Huey.
This chopper stations at Five Points in a small agricultural airfield with other ag aircrafts, owned by American Ag Aviation Inc.
The company has tonns of work, usually beause of the climate, pilots have to fly during the night aswell.
The Bell UH-1 Iroquois, nicknamed Huey, is a military helicopter powered by a single turboshaft engine, with two-blade main and tail rotors. The first member of the prolific Huey family, was developed by Bell Helicopter to meet a United States Army's 1952 requirement for a medical evacuation and utility helicopter. The type first flew in 1956.
The UH-1 was the first turbine-powered helicopter to enter production for the United States military, in 1960, and more than 16,000 have since been built.

Második Kaliforniai látogatásom során ismét lehetőségem nyílt találkozni és repülni is a csodálatos Bell UH-1 Huey-val.
Nem volt könnyű, több mint két és fél óra autókázás kellett hozzá, de az élmény mindenért kárpótolt.
A felvételen szereplő Bell UH-1, sok társához hasonlóan Vietnami veterán. A háború után került vissza az Egyesült Államokba, ahol permetezésre fogták.
Napjainkban egy kis mezőgazdasági repülőtéren állomásozik Five Points-tól nem messze. Tulajdonosa az American Ag Aviation Inc, mely kész mezőgazdasági légi jármű flottával rendelkezik. A cég rengeteg megrendelést kap, sokszor pilótáiknak éjszaka is repülniük kell.
A Bell UH-1 Iroquois egy amerikai fejlesztésű és gyártású többcélú katonai szállító helikopter, becenevén Huey.
Leginkább a vietnami háborúból ismert, mivel a típust széles körben alkalmazta az amerikai és a dél-vietnami hadsereg is.
Jellegzetes erős csattogó hangja a vietnami filmekből vált világhírűvé.

Well, what do you think oh the Huey? Looks like the spray boom is about 15 meters long! My friend used to crop dust in Arizona in a Hiller. He also landed on a truck. I was testing a new video camera in '81 and shot this (after 22 seconds): czcams.com/video/sliULSNz6W8/video.html
Ka 26 made turn more faster, and on one point. Isn't it?
Or spray construction on Bell more bigger than on Kamov and it takes more time for turn?

@@KamovRidernice mate I work at a place in New Zealand that uses the 204 super b for top dressing with the fert buckets but also does other roles such as construction, fire fighting I'll send you a link to check em out Hueys are bloody good workhorses
