Thank You. Lord brand these values into my heart I pray day by day, and let me be found in the way that leads many to riteusness.

I am so selfish, I have a sense of entitlement, forgive me Lord for my selfishness. Even when John Piper says how Epaphroditus is worried that people know he’s sick incase they worry about him, wow, I naturally, in my selfish attitude want people to know. God forgive me, change me, renew my heart and mind. Let me live verse 4 with humility and long to serve others and not have to ‘try’, let me do it willingly and naturally. In Jesus precious and Holy name I pray 🙏🏻

    Isaiah 30:1-5 KJV
Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: [2] That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! [3] Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. [4] For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes. [5] They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
    Sin no more! John!
    John 5:14 KJV
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
    Revelation 22:11-15 KJV
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. [12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. [14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

And then, right after he prayed, he demonstrated how NOT to have the mind of Christ.
