@@PongGod There was an older couple in front of us the other day. He looked like he was at least mid 80s, had a very deliberate walk. His wife had some fire in her step and in her game. They called it after 8 holes. I was very inspired.
I live across the country from Oregon but I wouldn't have thought you would have 300 decent days to play golf. And I have never seen any 91 y/o that could walk 18 holes of golf. She is amazing.....only 2 hours to walk 18 holes and that is with two other golfers. This segment needs to be on the national news.
I played today with a gentleman who is 79 years ol. He walked, carried his bag and shot 77. All of you who do things like this are an inspiration to the rest of us. For me, 65 and keeping on walking. It is a bit of play or perish.
I hope she plays golf beyond 100 years old. Phyllis is a role model for kindness and friendship. Rename the golf course in her honor once she elevates to the next level. Callaway should sponsor her!
I was a golf pro in my 20s. I worked at a country club in TX for a while, and Charlie Sifford was a member there. Charlie was the first black PGA tour player. He was in his 80s at the time, but he would spend 5 hours everyday on our practice green, just chipping and putting with a big old cigar in his mouth. Even in the middle of Houston summers. He was still deadly on the greens too. I wouldn't say we became friends, but definitely quite friendly. I've got a signed copy of his book still. RIP Charlie
Wow, this was so inspiring! I'm 78 and trying to get back into the game and Phyllis made me realize I need to keep going. What a marvelous woman. I wish her many more happy rounds. Would love to see a book about her.
She is better than most of the men's club I played for. I love this womans dedication and I truly am inspired and hope I can still play like she does after all the years .
Great to see this, I help the elderly play golf, I have a 97 year old woman and a 96 year old man in the group. They are the most positive people I have ever met...
This was my grandpa as well. He first discovered the game and that he loved it in the early 1950s after one of his buddies he fought together with in the Korean War invited him to play a round. It became a regular part of the rest of his life (passed away in 08/2023) especially after his retirement in the mid 90s, after which he did often play every day of many weeks.
Awesome.. she's my role model! ❤ I've been walking 11 holes teeing off at 6:20 am, finishing by 8:30 am so I can get home in time for the 9 am team meeting. :-)
My buddy’s grandad is 104 and he only stopped playing a few years ago. Couldn’t hit it far but was deadly around the greens. He credits golf for keeping him alive and in such good health all these years. I hope I’m still able to play at Phyllis’s age!
I used to work at a golf club and there were suprisingly quite a few golfers who were in there late 80s/early 90s that still played 18 holes. And they always scored well because they didn't try to overswing, keep it simple. Its great exercise, fresh air and keeps the mind active as well.
I admire the way she just bends down to get the ball out of the hole, no sucker on the end of the putter! She is adorable, great sense of humour, better swing than a lot of older golfers. Hang in there beautiful lady ❤
I am almost 68. In two years, I can hit from the red tees. I can still bomb drives 250 or better. In two years, all the par 4's are between 260 and 320. I can't wait!
I am 72 and use the Martini Tees that she uses -Bless you Phyllis and her partners-if you are ever in the L.A.. area, I'll book a T time for us-only if you promise to give me a few golf tips !!!...Jeff
Great on you wonderful inspirational. I have a male friend who annoys me. Played same course for 40 years. In non competitions and non qualifiers he holds up everyone. Down on his knees measuring puts even though some are less than 3 feet. Drives me bonkers. And then he marks his card but for what? And he marks it standing on the green. Jesus he should take a look at this young lady. Well done Phyllis.
91yrs young and getting around 18 holes in just over 2hrs is beyond speedy. Keep enjoying the game Phyllis and i hope your dying wish comes true for you
“I just want to die of a heart attack on the 18th green”. lol. She’s awesome!
... after sinking that final birdie putt!
Not next week
Didn't that happen to Alan Gray in the show 'Entourage?' 😏
I'd be from a stroke more than likely.
"get up, hit your ball, start walking".
95% of the public should heed that advice. Well done Phyllis!
This is why I fell in love with golf, it's an outdoor sport you can play forever.
Love this story. My golf buddy just turned 90 this year and still going strong.
Look up Within Heaven's Gates by Rebecca Springer. Page 64.😇 Gift for you both.
One of my golf buddies is 87. He loves the game so much and still has a nice swing, but he usually has to limit himself to 9 holes.

Awesome. I played with my dad until he was about 85 and couldn't do it anymore. I really miss those saturday mornings.

Use it or lose it as they say, keep on trucking buddy.
holy cow he beat his age. that is amazing, he would have been a scratch golfer back in his day for sure
I hope she plays golf beyond 100 years old. Phyllis is a role model for kindness and friendship. Rename the golf course in her honor once she elevates to the next level. Callaway should sponsor her!
Totally agree someone sponsor this legend, what an inspiration to all of us
You go young lady....remember Golf is Life and Life is Good

How come we don't get more of these stories from the news? I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Phyllis.
I'm completely choked up. Incredible.
Wow, this was so inspiring! I'm 78 and trying to get back into the game and Phyllis made me realize I need to keep going. What a marvelous woman. I wish her many more happy rounds. Would love to see a book about her.
My father is 79 and we just returned to the game last year after a 25 year hiatus. Best wishes on your return.

Everyone looks legit happy to see Phyllis. An Inspiration to dogs and humans alike!
That’s awesome. The gentleman she’s with is also carrying the bag and pushing a cart. What a stud.
Phyllis has lots of pep in her step for 91. Go girl! 🎉
Great story! This lady is a real ambassador for golf!
Inspiring!! I'm 78 & love my golf. Enjoy the walk. I hope I can be like Phyllis. Well done 🏌♀️⛳️

This is the most wholesome video ever. What lovely people ❤❤
God bless Phyllis. Here's to many more rounds and birdies!
What a heartwarming story!
Great work Phylis , I hope when your time is up, that you make birdie on 18 ⛳️
Great to see this, I help the elderly play golf, I have a 97 year old woman and a 96 year old man in the group.
They are the most positive people I have ever met...
What an absolute LEGEND! Everything about her I love.
If she needs someone to play with, I'd love to play a round with her❤
I see her around the course when I play there. It motivates me to see her out there. I love it!
Tell her she's amazing ❤
She is a good player. Good swing, nice contact. Better and FASTER than a lot of golfers who I see playing on my homecourse
My dad played until 92 and died at 93. Told him his foursome was waiting on him upstairs ⛳️ Phyllis rocks and probably never cheats

That’s just awesome! You go girl and hope your golfing till your 100+! 💕💕
What a bueatiful golf swing. She's living the dream. Having fun on a walk with a friend)
It’s awesome that Phyllis and Alan are able to still find people to play golf with and sad to think about how some of their partners have passed on
God bless her, not complaining or coming up with excuses like some of the 30 year olds I work with, she’s on the move!!!!!
What a gem. God bless her.
Awesome.. she's my role model! ❤ I've been walking 11 holes teeing off at 6:20 am, finishing by 8:30 am so I can get home in time for the 9 am team meeting. :-)
This lady is my hero

Phillips, Thank you, what an absolute treat of a lady, inspired to keep walking.❤
Very inspiring. She really has a good swing for 90+

Fabulous. Such an inspiration. Go Phylis.
Truly inspirational and remarkable lady.🤗👏
Phyllis you are an inspiration. I would love to play golf with you but it's a bit far to come from Australia. I wish you many more years playing golf.
That's awesome, love to see it. Glad she lives in a part of the world where this is possible, in Texas it'd be too hot and humid 1/3 of the year
My new idol! She’s just awesome
Great video. Congrats Phyllis and friends. Very inspirational.
That’s an impressive round time! What an inspiration ☺️
This is so inspirational! Love this beautiful lady!

SO inspirational!
Great story!!! I laughed a few times and also inspired
Not a step below "speed golf", just a great example of "ready golf".... good for her too btw....
Love you Phyllis! ❤
That's amazing!!! great story⛳
My Dad golfed well into his 90's, his biggest problem was having to find new golf buddy's because they would die on him.
2 hours for 18 holes is VERY FAST! Go Go Phyllis!
This is my goal with maybe a pickup game of pickleball in the afternoon, and fishing on weekends. Rinse, repeat until I fall over.
J’ai joué hier à Rueil-Malmaison, derrière un groupe de trois personnes dont un monsieur de 98 ans!!! ❤❤❤
This is so cool.
Her swing is pure at her age (and any age!).
Love you Phyliss!
God bless her! Love it!
that's just awesome!
the greens at Redmond is a par 3 course but its a lot of walking and up and down terrain. I am impressed
She has amazing coordination still too 💯🔥
Wow! Just WOW!
Great going. I sincerely pray that this becomes a possibility for me to. 🙏
I am 72 and use the Martini Tees that she uses -Bless you Phyllis and her partners-if you are ever in the L.A.. area, I'll book a T time for us-only if you promise to give me a few golf tips !!!...Jeff
Yes, inspiring!
Wow, what a Legend.
What a legend.
This is incredible.
She’s awesome
Awesome!
Amazing, also looking into tee times to see if I can get matched up with you Phyllis! I’m sure I’m not the first to call the clubhouse lol
Awesome 💪🏻💪🏻
Being able to bend down that low to pick the ball up from the hole is incredible enough at that age and she does it 18 times a day!
Phyllis for president!
God blessed her with good health.

A 2 hour walking round at 91 is insane!!
