I had a feeling you sold the caravan. You had me worried aswell, I was thinking you'd given up altogether. I'm glad you've got a campervan. Hopefully the meet-up will happen in September with carefree caravanning and I get to meet you all. Stay safe.
Peter. X
Yes I am hoping it will go ahead to Peter. It will be something special to look forward to. Keep safe and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
Hi from NZ. We know how disappointed you'll be not being able to pick your new MoHo up. Trust me you won't be disappointed changing to a MoHo, we had a Bailey Unicorn caravan which we sold to buy a MoHo as SO much easier as we get older & my husband has a problem back at times. Absolutely love it & wish we bought one years ago although did love our caravans as well. We bought a new Autotrail, had it now for over a year & being retired now usually head away every 3 or 4 weeks. Here in NZ we have just gone into level 2 so are now able to travel throughout NZ so we are planning a trip as I write this. We look forward to seeing what you have bought and your trips away. I'm sure you'll love changing to the MoHo so much easier. Take care.
Bless you thank you. I am so pleased you are able to move around now in NZ. Im hoping it wont be too long now before we will be able to get it, even if we have to stay on the drive. Keep safe and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
Oh your naughty people😂 I was very worried... I can’t wait to find out which one you have bought. I am so pleased for you both. Speak soon, Oliver.
Sorry about that. Its been the longest time I've had to keep a secret ~ it been so so hard. Look out for the video that will give you some clues to what we bought. Hope it wont be long now before we get it. Keep safe and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
You had me then,🙀 thought you were giving up for good. Good luck with your motor home I’m sure it will be a lot easier for you both can’t wait to see it 😁😎👍
Sorry about that Liz. We've had to wait so long to tell our story, its been top secret lol. It was so hard to say goodbye as I lived for that caravan quite literally. Its what got me from that hospital bed! time to move on now. Really excited to think that it might not be too long now. Keep safe and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
Congratulations on your move to the Dark Side... 😎 ✅ 👏🏻
Hope you get the chance to use your new Mohome very soon and look forward to watching your new style vlogs... 👍🏻

I’m sure you will enjoy the motor home as much as the caravan. Thanks for sharing.stay safe. Love Deb&paul
Thank you, I'm sure we will too. Cant wait, getting so excited now. Keep safe you two and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
It must've been a wrench selling the caravan. On the upside, you're moving on to better things with the new MH. The "virus" has affected my own caravanning plans. The caravan should've been at Thornwick Bay by now but the site (operated by Haven) is closed until 2nd July. It will be worth the wait for your new MH.
Thank you. Yes it will come round very soon now, just have to be a little bit more patient. Keep safe and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
Excellent news, welcome to Motorhoming. You said you were thinking about it when met you the first at the NEC. Great news, let me know if have any questions after you've picked it up.
Really excited now might only be a little more time now before we get it. Keep your fingers crossed. Keep safe you two and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
OMG Lin you had me getting upset with you then. You naughty things. Looking forward to seeing the tour of your motor home xxx
Sorry about that Callie you are a big ole softie like me lol. So when things are better you should still expect a visit from us!! trouble is, there is still a little bit of a bumpy hill to travel. I am looking forward, its what keeps me going. ~ Lin xx

Hi congratulations Lin and Rich, look forward to seeing your new adventure maker when lock downs over.
I hope you don’t mind this question but we thought about doing what you have done and taking finance from our home but had heard some negative reports. If you don’t mind m3 asking who did you use and what persuaded you? X
Hi Teresa thanks so much for your continued support. Of course I don't mind. We first tried to go through Nationwide but because it was a new product for them they messed us about terribly, and didn't really know what they were doing. I had heard such horror stories myself that I wanted to use what I thought was a reputable Company but quite honestly I was disgusted with them. Rich then said he had done the research on Key Equity Release who could not have been more helpful. We wanted a release scheme that would allow us to pay back the interest if we can afford it, thus protecting more money at the end for our kids. If we cant afford it at any time the interest is added to the loan but the interest is very low and is added each year. You can pay up to 10% incl. the interest. ie: if you borrow £100,000 the most you could pay back in any year would be £10,000- but this is not compulsory. you don't have to pay the interest at all if you don't want to. The projection they gave us showed that the amount we borrowed with no interest paid off, doubled in 23 years. The amount you can borrow will depend on the value of your property and your age. The loan becomes repayable on either the second death or the last person going into a care home. I think they said the beneficiary has up to 12 months to pay.
We initially talked it over with the kids and their only concern was that we wouldn't be ripped off. They were so pleased that they would be able to see us enjoy the last stage of our life. They don't care about what money is left, their only instruction was to enjoy ourselves. Things are so much better these days for equity release as they are governed by the FSA. Years ago Rich was a financial advisor so he knew what he wanted but Key explains all the options anyway in really easy to understand way which is what they did for my dopey brain. We honestly would highly recommend them they were marvellous. I would suggest to use their independent solicitor too as highstreet solicitors aren't really up to the job as we found out. I went into it very frightened indeed and even though lockdown has postponed a lot of our plans I really feel this is the best thing we have ever done. Why keep all that money locked up, use it I say. Its no good being property rich and piss poor lol. I hope this helps and eases your fear. And if you have any other questions I'd be happy to answer.
I would suggest you get in touch with Key as there is a no charge for their advice and no obligation to proceed. tell them you were recommended by us and they may give you a discount. Let me know how you get on. ~ Lin
Thanks Lin, totally agree why stay poor if your home can work for you whilst you can enjoy life.
Really looking forward to seeing your new adventures. Take care x
So please for you, no more divorce in a bag!? You won't 'show us' the new 'van, can you tell us what make and model it is though?
No clues ....yet. See if you can guess in the next video lol. Keep safe and keep smiling ~ Lin xx
