As I have been Shielding during the Pandemic this video is about how handover took place and also shows how things work in the Motorhome. With kind permission from Marquis at Ipswich they have allowed me to upload the 'how to video' that the handover guy Gavin made. A big shoutout to Dean who went above and beyond to keep us safe and Gavin for the video footage. And I'd like to also like to thank all the staff at Ipswich who made this happen
I hope this may help the newbies with their motorhomes and can also be used as a reference guide in the future.
This is the story of us: Lin, Rich and our dog Cookie. Lin had a stroke in November 2016 and needed a new challenge - to vlog about their caravan journey. Now having sold our caravan we are ready to continue our journey in our 2020 Benimar Tessoro 486. Please join us on our new adventure. Its gonna be a challenge but we are hoping to have some fun and maybe a few arguments along the away!

Having purchased a T494 without handover instructions, I am taking it to the lake district in two weeks time for the first run out. Your video was extremely helpful and demonstrated all the things I need to know as I had not got a clue. Well done and many thanks

Hi Lyn and Rich, congratulations on your fantastic new van. I was an entertainer and for 20 years toured and lived in Transits, driving all over the UK and Europe. It was just basic with three beds a microwave and a tv lol. All or washing took place in services on the motorways or theatres. My wife has always been on the fence about Motorhomes,. probably stemming from our "Motorhome" lol. She's not very well with cancer at the moment but hopefully when she recovers I can persuade her to think again. Every home CZcams channel, especially yours is full of comments and tips from such nice, friendly and positive people. We've always been a fly, hotel beach and fly home type of family. But now that are children are grown up I think this would be such a nice community and activity to get into. Congratulations again on the van. Keep safe. Simon. X
Wow Simon what a lovely comment. Thank you. Sorry to hear that you have challenges in your family to deal with. Sounds like you are very much like us and deal with things with a very positive attitude. Even though we have only managed one trip away in the Motorhome this year, I have no regrets. Just aiming for it kept me going and now although I have to learn patience while we deal with what's thrown at us it will all be worth it and mean so much more next year. Yes I'm so glad TF20 was cancelled anyway because it would have made it so much worse if we had to cancel a booking. As it was, with Rich being ill last year we had to cancel 3 bookings. Hi Lin and Rich, welcome to the Motor Homing fraternity, when I first started I joined a Motor homing forum which gave me access to loads of free advice (and a bit of friendly banter at times) I use Motorhomefun but there are many others that I am sure are as good and also loads of Facebook groups as well ( though I don't tend to use Facebook myself)
