Today I want to share with ya'll my summer patriotic vintage porch decor for 2024. I was decorating it for the weekend and thought I would share it with you. My sister, Easton and I would like to say thank you to everyone that gave their life, their time to serve our country to give us this incredible FREEDOM that we get to enjoy everyday. Without you and all the sacrifices you have made we wouldn't get to live in the America, the home of the brave. We are praying for you all and ask God to bless you and your families.

My father served in the Army during World War 2,and my 4 sons served in the Army ! I thank the Lord. They all made it home safe !! I fly the American flag every day with the respect and love of our country and the members who have served and the ones protecting protecting us now!!
A HUGE thank you to each of your family members that have served our country for our freedom. I'm so thankful they all made it home safe, what a blessings from God. I love our flag and our country and thank God for His blessings. So thankful to have you watch! God bless you and your family!
Michelle your porch looks so nice! Love all the devor! And the flowers look so beautiful!!❤ Begonias Are one of my favorite outside plants. I plant different varieties & colors every year. All your flowers & plants look so healthy. This holiday is so special to me, and every time i see a flag i think of my daddy. He was A WWII purple heart marine veteran. And he was A die hard marine til the day he died. He shared many of his war stories and its so so heartbreaking💔 not just for my daddy and my family.. but for so many others! But when he passed we had the traditional Marines service. After taps was played and those marines folded that flag & presented it to me, on behalf of the president, at that time, and the US Marines.. it was just a feeling of heartbreak & pride all at the same time🥹 That flag is housed in a wood flag box with a glass front and stays in my living room.. and i love it dearly! So yeah, flags and bugles, veteran holidays and marines.. it a holds a special place in my heart forever!🇺🇸❤ My brother also served in the army in Vietnam. All men & women who serve or have served deserve to be recognized every day! I'm so sorry i rattled on about the holiday.. but i just had to share my heart. Thank you for the ending verse❤ Have A great Memorial day and love you dearly my sweet friend!❤🇺🇸
Tammy I'm always so glad that you share your heart with me here. I can feel how proud you are of your sweet Daddy. I could never imagine what they endured while serving our country. I always have so much pride in our flag and our country because of the selfless acts given by so many. Memorial Day always makes my heart sad, I just miss my family so much. I hope you are doing well, I pray for you daily and know that God has His had of blessings over your life. Love you Tammy, hang in there!!!

So beautiful. If we were neighbors, we would be besties. But we'd be on your porch. Sadly I don't have one. I'm so envious of your oakleaf hydrangea. I do have a Bobo. Three others that never bloom. And the red geraniums are gorgeous. We so love the same things, and most of all Jesus. Thank you for your tribute-we all have someone in our lives that have served. My dad and father in law's pictures are smack dab in the middle of my memorial decor propped up in an old folding ruler like my dad used. We have many military in our extended family as well. What courageous heroes! They deserve so much good in their lives. I have 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇸 everywhere. Be blessed this Memorial day.
You know, I always tell my sister that I feel like I have so many BEST friends here but sadly don't get to spend time with them like you could if you were neighbors. I do consider so many of you here by BESTIES regardless! Your tribute sounds amazing that you created with the folding rulers and pictures. I love displaying my daddy too. I have been wanting a bobo hydrangea and recently my sister bought me a lime light for my birthday. I just flowers and would buy them all if I could. Friend, it truly warms my heart to know we share such similar taste! Can only imagine the fun we might have together. God bless you!
Sweet friend your porch is just beautiful that sign awe has my ❤ the Bible verse is perfect because it’s so true Jesus laid down his life for us the price he pd is unthinkable 😢 we’re so Blessed to live in our great country the price our families pd for our freedom in this country it’s heartwarming & heartbreaking all at the same time my daddy served in world war 2 had a the full service my brother has his flag ❤ thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers & gorgeous porch honey nothing perfect it’s outside beauty ❤ have a Blessed day sweet friend 😊
Thank you my dear friend! I have found there is much beauty in the imperfections in life. It's not always my first choice but if you look hard enough you can find ways to still enjoy what you have. Im so thankful to have you here and to call you my friend. You bless my heart so much each week. Its truly an honor to life in America and know the freedom we have from all those that served. A huge thank you to your sweet Daddy. God certainly gave us the ultimate sacrifice and I can't imagine not having God with us each day. I'm always so blessed by your testimony. Thank you Kathy! I'm so glad we have similar taste. I've had my pineapples for many years and love them. Life isn't perfect by any means, is it? I love your porch Michele! Those red begonias are stunning! My husband and I went to a couple of nurseries on Friday, and I planted all my annuals in pots. I also did one with fresh herbs for my raised back deck. I could never plant them ground level, would be like ringing the dinner bell for all the deer, groundhogs and bunny's around me, LOL! We all owe our freedom to the brave men and women who gave their lives for us. ❤
I love to garden and wish I was surround by country woods even if the deer were a problem. I'm sure your gardens are lovely even if they are in raised beds. If I was rich I would have all the flowers in my yard, I just love them all! We certainly do owe so much to those that paid the price for our freedom. May we never forget them. Thanks for the bonus video. Your plants and flowers look so good. Here in Iowa, they are "thinking about" starting to shine for summer. Our weather has been cold and wet. Your porch looks like a cozy spot to relax. I just came in the house from our bonfire. My husband and I sat out there for a couple of hours tonight. It was cool, not much wind and very quiet. It was perfect.

Then I took it down and it was sitting in my storage room and when I seen it I knew I had to put it on my porch. These day and times are so trying I feel like I need to cover my home with the word of God both inside and out.
